Has Roy Hibbert FORGOTTEN How to Play Basketball???...Here's his Last 3 Games... 0pts, 0boards, 0dimes, 0blks, on 0-5 Shooting... 5pts, 1board, 2dimes, 2blk, on 2-7 Shooting... 0pts, 6boards, 0dimes, 1blk 0-9 Shooting... He's LITERALLY Gone 11 Games w/Out Reaching Double Digits in Boards...In his Last 24 Games he has a Total of 2 Double Digit Rebound Games...It's UNFATHOMABLE that a 7'2 STARTING NBA Center Could Play 24 Games & ONLY Reach Double Digits 2wice... REED:red:
44 for Steph Curry, Going into Overtime, On the Road vs. Portland... Strangely Enough, he's NEVER Had a 40+ Point Game in Front of his Home Fans in Golden State... REEDopcorn:
What about most improved player award for Blake Griffin? 1 rebound and 6 points is not that impressive at first but considering the poor competition for the award and that it is much harder to raise the game from an already much better level it is not completely idiotic to think about him there? :dunno:
Yeah, WB has never had the best handles. He gets by 90% on athleticism. The day his speed, and explosiveness go, he'll be a scrub.
His ballhanding is greatly improved in the last two years. His first 3 years he was basically a straight line driver. He uses more control now and is much better in the pick and roll, but he's not very consistent in that regard. He still has way too many stretches where he's out of control and he still is prone to mishandling while going at full speed. That said I think he will be able to hold a starting job at least. His jumpshot is decent and he has a nice free throw touch.
Blake's Definitely IMPROVED, but he was the THE #1 Pick in the Draft & a Multi-Time NBA All-Star, Even Prior to this Season...Historically, Guys like That DON'T Get "Most Improved" Consideration... It's Typically Players that were Thought of as SCRUBS, 1 Dimensional or Highly Touted Draft Picks that WEREN'T Living UP to their Potential... It's a 3 Man Race This Season, btwn Lance Stephenson, Gerald Green & DeAndre Jordan... REED :dance2:
Vogel must be praying to the gods that Bynum get healthy for the playoffs because Hibbert will be a liability.
It Always AMUSES REED when People Denigrate Westbrook's BALLHANDLING, as if he Gets RIPPED Often Or has Issues Getting WHEREVER He Wants to Get, On the Basketball Court... Dude Isn't Gonna WOW you w/FLASHY Moves & Handles, like a Steph Curry, Kyrie Irving or CP3 Will, but Westbrook is Equally EFFECTIVE w/the Rock in his Hands...Westbrook INITIATES the Teams Offense, FACILITATES Better than he's Given Credit For & NEVER has a Problem Getting Where he WANTS to Get, w/the Ball in his Hands... He's a GOOD Ballhandler... REED:mj:
Absolutely NO Lead is Safe, when Playing the Golden State Warriors... Kevin Love Started HOT, Got Minnesota Up by 19, yet Now it's a 2pt Game at Halftime... REED:mj:
ABSOfuckingLUTELY... It's Looking Like we'll Get: Spurs-Grizzlies Thunder-Mavericks Clippers-Warriors Rockets-Blazers Memphis and Dallas Could Switch Spots, but Other than that, Things are Pretty Much SET... Can't Wait... REED:dance2:
I'm starting to wonder if the Heat had peaked. And this has nothing to do with their last game. But I wonder if the wear and tear of age and injuries is starting to catch up. D-Wade isn't even that old(32?) and he's showing the signs. Lebron is still the top guy but even he is starting to show some signs and he's being made to carry the team more now. Fortunately for them the Pacers are a mess and that's pretty much all they have to worry about until the finals. They should still be favorites to win the title I think, but if they do, I don't see them winning it in the years to come.
Memphis is a bit worse and I don't see OKC losing to Detroit but LAC will probably go for it the last game in the off chance they get home court against OKC
I think you can win with just LeBron and Bosh unless OKC does something drastic. MIA will likely load up with MLEs to replace the aging guys like Battier. A guy like Rudy Fernandez is a good possibility
Indy's ALREADY Clinched the # 1 Seed, No Matter What Happens Tomorrow...If Your Scenario Occurred, Indy Would STILL Win Out via Tiebreaker... REED:mj:
