Emmanuel "Pac Man" Pacquiao defeated Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley by UD, which stands for "unanimous decision".

Pacman beat Bradley but everyone and anyone that watches boxing.. and I mean actually watches.. not just fan boys but boxing fans who appreciate and watch and study the art.. all know Floyd would put on a total clinic and asswhuppin if he fought Pac..

Pac is a total and total and ultra BUM compared to lil Floyd.. everyone knows this

lol, that is exactly what I was gonna say. All Floyd fans keep saying it will be easy but Floyd actions indicates he doesn't seems to believe so himself. Me think he knows Pac style will be a stylistically nightmare for him.

How is he a stylistic nightmare? Pacquiao's main defensive weakness is the straight right hand... There's nobody in the sport that can lead or counter with a right hand as consistently as Mayweather does... If anything Mayweather is a stylistic nightmare for Pac, not the other way around

I'm not saying anything with regard to whose fault it is they never fought or who is scared of whom, just objectively addressing their traits and talents

I don't see how Pacquiao could be considered a style nightmare for Floyd Mayweather

Floyd doesn't seem to deal very well with opponents who posses a lot of speed. Pac would be the first one who is clearly a step above him in this area. Wouldn't surprise me at all to see him getting in, throwing a flurry then getting out before Floyd has the time to counter attack.

Yeah zab was faster than May and still got his ass beat. But if you mean that you dont think pac is faster than May, i agree with that too.

Pacquiao looked slower than ever on Saturday. The Pacquiao of a few years ago was clearly quicker than Floyd though, of hand and foot, if not reactions.

What makes Floyd seem faster than he is, is his incredible reactions and speed of thought in the ring. He hasn't been a physical speed demon since 130 or 135.

I think Bradley-Brook could well happen in the UK next year, if Brook gets by the winner of Porter/Malignaggi and has the IBF strap.

Agreed 100%. Floyd is no slouch, obviously, but his reactions and sense of anticipation give the illusion of speed. Where as Pac was actually insanely fast a few years back.

If you compare Floyd of 130 to any version of Mayweather since leaving 140 there has been a clear reduction in quickness.

Bang on Slicey, you got it. Particularly the incredible reactions and anticipation that gives the illusion of being faster than he actually is

How did you find Saturday's Pacquiao, speed wise, compared to Floyd? Pacquiao's speed has nosedived in his recent few fights.

If you react quicker because you think faster and anticipate, than for all intent and purposes, you ARE faster

More effectively faster yes. In a sprint getting out of the blocks quickest is a major advantage. The shorter the length of the race the bigger the difference it will make to the finish line.

Allot of effective 'speed' is down to positioning.

Floyd can see all the openings he wants, he STILL has to have the speed to pull the trigger and capitalize on those openings.

Hell, for all we know, Brandon Rios and Alfredo Angulo could see plenty of openings, it doens't matter because the fuckers are too slow to pull the trigger on them.

Handpseed wise, Floyd's never been in the same realm as Roy, Camacho, Leonard, ect. However, don't make it seem that it's ALL about the openings he sees.

i saw pacquiao in the gym plenty of times working out and sparring at 122-126, as well as mayweather jr at 130-140 and the latter was faster

PBF's timing & ability to exploit openings is second to none. Manny's faster at throwing punches in bunches, also slightly faster with single shots. Both are amazing at getting of first. However, Pac can get derailed by good footwork, makes mistakes, & PBF could be out-worked. The key for Manny would be to get in & out fast throwing lot's of punches. The key for PBF would be to time Manny with the RH.
