Caron Butler Playing "Captain SAVE-a-HO" for OKC in Game 5...Just Got a 4 Point Play... A CRUCIAL 15 Points Thus Faaaaaaaaaaar.... REED:hammert:
CRUCIAL Steal by Westbrook, MANNED UP w/Conley, for the Game TYING Dunk... Going to OT, yet AGAIN... REED:l1:
Mike Miller HASN'T Shot 3's THIS Fucking Well, Since he Played OKC In the Finals, 2 Years Ago... REED:shit:
WOW!!!... VERY Controversial Ending to Game 5... Joey Crawford Looked @ SEVERAL Out of Bounds Instances on Replay, 1 of Which was CLEARLY Knocked Out by a Memphis Player, yet he Called it for Memphis... Kevin Durant's At the Line, Drains a Free Throw, Crawford Throws the Ball to Him for his 2nd Free Throw, then Rushes In to TAKE the Ball from him, Mid Routine...Crawford Then Goes Over to the Scorer's Table, BITCHING about Something, Eventually Gives the Rock BACK to Durant, who of Course MISSES the Free Throw, After Standing there Looking Stupid for Nearly 60 Full Seconds... On the Final Play, Ibaka Looked like he MAY Have Gotten a Tip In just BEFORE the Buzzer, but Crawford Waved that Off as Well... 3-2 Memphis... REED:shit:
...and 13 Assists, 10 Boards, a Steal & a Block...The Steal was in a 1-On-1 Scenario w/Conley, Where Westbrook RIPPED him & DUNKED the Game Tying Basket, to Send it to OT... REED:hammert:
OKC and San Antonio possibly won't make it out of the first round. OKC in particular are in serious trouble. No way would I have ever imagined the top two seeds in the west possibly gone at the beginning of these playoffs.
The Griz are probably close to a 60 win team this season if they didnt lose Gasol for that stretch. Westbrook was fine tonight, but another inept performance from Durant. Hes been beyond terrible this series, sure he has Tony Allen on him, but if youre the best player in the league (or want to be) you dont get shut down like this for 5 straight games. Oh yeah, Brooks needs to go.
I think Spurs will eventually beat Dallas. But I'm not sure about OKC though. Memphis are gritty as fuck.
i think memphis will beat okc. nene twice saved the wizards last night from missed free throws. i expect to see them vs. miami in the eastern conf. finals.
Looks like KD is about to join Dirk as the only MVP's to ever get bounced in the first round. Have to sad, pretty shitty performances by Durant. If he was in beast mode, and Memphis was STILL winning, then he could be forgiven. But the fact that he's performing so shitty aint good. The reg season matters fuck all if you can't perform in the playoffs. I don't give a fuck WHO the Hell is guarding him, KD better go insane in game 6.
Has to be said that Westbrook's turnovers and poor shot selection hurt OKC too. He's gotta be one frustrating player to coach.
Don't Forget Indiana... That's 2 # 1 Seeds that Could Be ELIMINATED...3 of the Top 4 Regular Season Teams Could Be ELIMINATED, in the 1st Fucking Round... REED::
If SA and OKC both go down, we gotta reply on the Clips to take down the Heat. Won't happen. CP3 and Blake arean't ready for the big time. Congrats Lebron. You have a cake walk to your 3-peat.
Yeah, it's UNFATHOMABLE the SAME Motherfucker Can Hold Kevin Durant in Check for 5 STRAIGHT Games... Tony Allen's as GOOD as it Gets, as a Perimeter Defender...But Still, Durant's the MVP of the League & the Premier OFFENSIVE Talent in the Woooooooorld...Or So we THOUGHT... He's Gotta Play MUCH Better, Simple as That... REED:hammert:
Not only that, but KD defers to Westbrick too much in the clutch. Maybe he's just not ready to take over for a ring, just yet. Not a huge deal. Mike and Lebron didn't win their first rings til they were 27-28ish, KD is only 25. But then again, Mike and Lebron wouldn't have been contained so easily.
A 90% Shooter who's STRUGGLED Soooooo Much This Series, he's Only Shooting 72% from the Line, Currently... Free Throws are ALL about RHYTHM, ROUTINE, REPETITION...Crawford Threw Durant the Ball & Durant BEGAN his Free Throw Routine...Crawford DISRUPTED It, THEN Left Durant Standing there for MANY Seconds, as he Flexed on Some Hapless Scoreboard Keeper???... Since he'd Already GIVEN Durant the Ball, Crawford Should have ALLOWED him to Shoot it, THEN Addressed the Scoreboard Issue... It was a Fucking 1 Point Game, Durant had JUST Made a Free Throw, had the Ball & was in the Midst of his Routine for the 2nd Free Throw... It's Been a TIGHT Playoff Series & Durant HASN'T Been Playing Well...What Crawford Did was UNNERVING & UNACCEPTABLE... REED:hammert:
That's when mental strength has to come into play. And at this point, KD's mental strength has a question mark next to it.
Yeah, Westbrook Shoots Tooooooooooo MUCH & his Shot Selection is POOR, but Critics Harp on it Tooooooo Much in REED's Opinion...He's Got the "Selfish" Tag, but Dude Averages 7 Dimes a Game for his CAREER!!!...REED Doesn't Get It... 31 Attempts is COMICAL & Yeah, Westbrook had Like 4 T.O.'s Last Night, but he Also Had 13 Dimes...That's HIGHER than a 3:1 Assist to Turnover Ratio...Had 10 Boards Too, Which is ABSURD for a GUARD, Coming Off 3 Knee Surgeries, in a PLAYOFF Game vs. a GOOD Rebounding Team::... He Also Had 1 of THE Best Defensive Plays of This Years Playoffs, in the Closing Seconds of the 4th Quarter, Which he CONVERTED into the Game TYING Basket... Russell Westbrook WAS NOT the Problem Last Night & HAS NOT Been the Problem this Series, for OKC... REED:hammert:
I agree. I've always gotten this vibe that KD is just too much of a nice guy and doesn't have the killer instinct/mean streak that the great players before him had. I feel he's a bit of a mental midget. Kind of like Paul George.
