No Padding in Maidana's Gloves?

Bullshit, there's a difference between training hard (as I said) and being mentally focused for a fight, fucknuts. As hard as Floyd trained, he must have thought he'd school caveman Maidana without much of a problem, just like most of us did.

 

There you go. You can't tell me Floyd would be just as pumped and mentally up for a 10-1 caveman like Maidana, as he would Pacquiao, or someone like Gaybox.

 

Floyd was mentally and physically ready for guys like Mosley, Cotto and Canelo....and maybe Marquez(since it was after a long layoff)


but for guys like Guerrero, Ortiz and Maidana...he train..he was ready..but there was never any doubt that he would beat/dominate those guys...

thats just my opinion....it's IMPOSSIBLE to bring be 110% for a guy like Guerrero when you have fought the Hatton, Castillo, De La Hoya, Corrales of the boxing world.....

 

I can't see there being much evidence for him improving under Hunter, seeing as he looked like a scrub in his previous 2 fights.

I more think the Collazo fight was somewhat flukey/an exceptionally good style matchup for him.

 

That's exactly how I see it. Being the highly dedicated pro he is, he'd train very hard as always, but you can't tell me he'd be just as mentally geared up for guys like Gurrardo and Madonna as Hatton, Oscar etc, there's no fucking way.

 

Anyone with an inch of boxing knowledge would also know that Maidana was clasped and countered with ease by Alexander, and outboxed by old, shot, Erik Morales.

Doesn't take a brain surgeon to think Floyd would do an absolute number on him.

 

That's right, as I've been arguing with REED about, but not that fucking much.

Just "a bit better than before", not "fighting on even terms with Floyd" better.
