it was a close fight, Maidana is ugly and ill never watch him again...Floyd is frustrating to watch the way his activity is so low for a guy with such stamina...he leaves rounds so close....he seemed to have so much left in the tank in Round 12

 

So because the ref did a terrible job, Khan is going to get high marks for a performance that would have been impossible had the rules of the sport been observed?

If Everton defeats Liverpool 2-1 but in the process sends 6 of its (Liverpool's) starting players off the pitch with broken ankles from blatantly illegal tackles but the officials don't card any of them, is it a great performance from Everton? Or is it a disgraceful, unsportsmanlike, illegal, cynical performance they were lucky to get away with?

 

I expect him to box, not cagefight... I don't think that's too much to ask... There are legal means to protecting your chin and keeping out of harm's way... If he lacks the talent or skills to do so, he needs to get another job... more importantly, as I acknowledged, the officials need to ensure that the rules are followed... a clinch here or there is one thing, but Khan was allowed the clinch every time his opponent got within arm's length... This is unacceptable and had it been enforced, Khan very well may have found himself once again doing a drunken fish dance

It's not quite as bad as wald pussy, who does this against guys who are smaller and fatter than he and who in general are awful at boxing, but it is damned close
