I like the two leads, and I like the idea of Gotham WITHOUT Superheroes, but FOX will somehow fuck it up. Any show they have that's worth a damn nowadays, ends up on FX, and any show on FOX ends up being completely sanitized, dumbed down garbage.

 

It doesn't seem interesting at all.

Yup. Look at what they did with COSMOS: a boring piece of recycled trash that is tarnishing the memory of Carl Sagan's original milestone series.

 

According to the logic of these geniuses writing this show, by the time kiddo Bruce Wayne becomes Batman, all his archenemies will be collecting social security benefits and Catwoman will be a cougar.

I think it's been clarified that Panchy is a Creationist, but not a Literalist. That opens up plenty of possibilities for the religious minded. Maybe not what a lot of us would like to hear, but much better then the alternative stereotype of Southern Baptist literalists, with Adam & Eve riding Falcor the Luckdragon into Middle Earth to save The Hobbits from the Wicked Witch of Jurassic Narnia.

Sagan appears to be on record as an Agnostic, and not having much time for the idea of Atheism.
