he had 3 turnovers in a 90 second span at one point. then the play where he expected westbrook to take an intentional foul and tried to jump up and fling a 3/4 court shot to get an extra free throw was basically the biggest play of the game, and possibly the dumbest play of his career. Ive seen him do that a dozen times and never get 3 shots. its pointless and hopefully he now realizes this. just a very sloppy game between two young talented teams. i am very skeptical whether either can do much with the spurs anyhow unless parker gets hurt.
I hate OKC. But the Clips have nobody but themselves to blame. looks like the Heat will 3 peat after all.alm:
bullshit. It was clips ball and there was no foul. And the ONLY reason they gave that ball to OKC was because they missed the foul. Refs = Real MVP
Scott Brooks doesn't deserve to make two NBA Finals appearances. He'd get completely out-coached by Spoelstra again anyway
yep. Fouls are missed all the time. But you got instant replay and that shit was clear as day that it was clips ball.
Yep, OKC is a HORRIBLE Style Matchup for the Spurs... Westbrook MATCHES Parker, @ Worst, OKC's Bigs Make EACH Possession Tough on Duncan & They Eventually Wear him Down Over the Course of a Series, AND the Spurs have No One that Can Guard Durant (No, Not Even Kawhi Leonard), or OFFSET his Scoring Output... There's No Doubt San Antonio is SILENTLY Hoping the Clippers Win the Other Western Conference Semi... REED:mj:
Not According to the NBA Rulebook... Paraphrasing, it Basically States "If Player A Hits Player B's Hand or Arms, Causing Player B to LOSE the Ball, as it Goes Out of Bounds, Possession will Go to Player B's Team"... Reggie Jackson had 2 Hands on the Ball, Matt Barnes Reached Across, ie., FOULED Jackson, Knocking the Ball from his Hands... There was NATHAN "Clear as Day" about that Play, Dog...By the INTERPRETATION of the Rule, the Refs Followed Protocol AND, there's as No CLEAR CUT Visual Evidence to Overturn the Initial Ruling... REED:mj:
if you have ever played organized basketball that is how things go. if there is a play like that and a guy gets fouled and the ball goes out of bounds the ref wont always call the foul, but you can bet the guy who got fouled will get the ball.
i dont agree. OKC beat the spurs in the playoffs when they had harden. he was the difference in that series 2 years ago. i doubt the spurs give a damn who comes out of the other bracket.
i sure damn hope that okc beats the spurs. i doubt it tho. i expect another miami vs spurs finals. i hope miami trounces them in 5.
it doesnt matter. the replay rules are flawed and if that play had taken place any other time in the game aside from the last two minutes the thunder wouldve been given the ball out of bounds with or without a foul call and no one wouldve said shit
It doesnt matter. they were within 2 minutes and the replay was used and it showed it was clips ball. That really is all there is to it.
i dont see it that way. barnes fouled jackson so the thunder deserved the ball. that is how things go in all levels of basketball. you want the clippers to undeservedly get the ball on some technicality as if that is how shit should go. doc rivers argument was bullshit when he referred to the play where paul lost the ball out of bounds against golden state because there was no foul on the play.
you must channel your anger at the other plays. why the fuck is chris paul still trying that bullshit where he flings a full court shot up toward the rim when he is anticipating being fouled intentionally?? they NEVER give him 3 free throws instead of 2 and he still does it. now it bit them in the ass
Fuck that. We've had enough of that put together team winning rings. At least San Antonio built their dynasty from the ground up.
