Greatly anticipating this one. Crappy teaser though.

 

I am curious about it and probably will be great, but you are right: this teaser is crap.

 

If you didn't know anything about the movie before seeing this teaser, what would you get excited about?

 

So it's some sort of space movie. I know what the purpose of teasers are and who's directing,etc. It's just not too compelling. Hell, one shot of a wormhole would have made this trailer much better. It was done too vaguely.

 

not TOO vaguely though.

 

This teaser will make people think that is about another NASA rocket launch mission. I think the movie will be more similar to the plot of Star Trek: First Contact sans the borgs, about the first interstellar flight which changed the course of mankind...damn that was a good movie!

Agreed, stupid teaser. About 20 seconds of trailer movie footage and about 1 minute of old school historic vidoes. I would have just preferred 20 seconds of movie video without the stupid historical crap. I'm no more looking forward to the movie then I was before seeing it. In fact, maybe looking less forward to it now.

 

This will be an awesome movie.

 

Maybe or maybe not. The teaser for STAR TREK had a similar vibe, but ultimately had nothing to do with the film, but at least that one gave us some footage of the construction of the starship.

 

You mean the teaser for the first Star Trek reboot? How so? I doubt they were even contemplating the sequel at that point.

Lol, I guess I was just too impatient for the movie stuff.

 

I was looking for this thread and couldn't find it, so I made another thread for the new trailer. To avoid duplicity please delete my new thread.

 

It might turn out to be a great movie, but this is yet another long teaser. Based on this trailer, why should I run to a theater to watch this? Nothing new or exciting here.
