Ok this sucker has an official title: Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

 

English actor Charlie Cox, from 'Boardwalk Empire' may be the one donning the red suit and mask as Daredevil in the upcoming Netflix series. I am glad they will be hiring an actor and not a talentless pretty boy hunk for the role.

 

Scott Derrickson, director of 'Sinister' and 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose', is very close to finalize a deal to direct a movie adaptation of 'Dr.Strange' for Marvel. Keving Feige & Stan Lee will be producing the movie for the Phase III of Marvel movies.

Rumors keep mentioning Johnny Depp to possibly star, even though his reps say no talks have been done yet and filming should meet Depp's schedule which he already has full with a new Pirates movie and an 'Alice in Wonderland' sequel.

*Vincent D'Onofrio will play the Kingpin in the Daredevil Netfix series which probably will be titled just 'DARE'.

*Jason Momoa will play Aquaman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

*As you know Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman in the above titled film. She is very skinny and has been criticized a lot on the net for not looking Amazonian enough. Rumor has it that Zack Snyder will put her in an armor rather than the well known costume. Will this be her costume?

 

Joaquin Phoenix is reportedly in talks with Marvel to star in the Doctor Strange film to be directed by Scott Derrickson. While most recent rumours where pointing toward Benedict Cummberbatch and Tom Hardy, yesterday the net went crazy with the latest possible candidate being the acclaimed, but excentric Phoenix. While this might turn out to be just nothing the timing is intriguing:
Marvel will have a presentation panel at San Diego's Comic-Con this weekend. Joaquin Phoenix was spotted by fans at a local Connecticut comicbook store purchasing Doctor Strange comics! Coincidence? Marvel's Kevin Feige has stated that no announcements on any projects will be done until everything is signed on contracts.

Why the fuck is the movie titled batman versus superman if it's a fucking JLA movie?

Because it 'borrows' some of the plot of Frank Miller's 'The Dark Knight Returns' where Batty fights Supes using an armored suit. In yesterday's Comic-Con presentation they showed a clip of that showdown.

 

Batman vs Superman is a very intriguing movie title tbh.

Joaquin Phoenix as Doctor Strange would be great.

 

Intriguing maybe. But does it fit when it looks like the movie is going to be about the Justice League of America? It's like naming the Avernger's film "Thor vs Ironman" for that 2 1/2 minute fight they had.

 

We don't know until the movie is released. Maybe all the other JLA characters will only have cameos and at the end they all reunite and say 'Lets make a team'. Also most of the average moviegoer folks don't know what Justice League is, so they couldn't use that as a title.

Why FOX is still not making this movie is an enigma: they have the rights to the character which right one is one of the most popular characters from Marvel. They are seating on a mine of gold and are doing NOTHING about it. If only Marvel could get the rights back! ray:

A recent leaked pic om the set we can notice that Superman's new uniform shows it is now more closer to the one we know than the one from 'Man of Steel'. The colors are brighter, particularly the 'S' yellow background color, plus the uniform doesn't seem to have those design lines so distracting from the prior film and the 'belt' is different.

 

If you ever wanted to know what Superman would look like after taking in 1 to many Matrix movies...there you go.
