I thought that chinless berk would be carried out in an actual coffin, his mother weeping on a gurney as they marched his lifeless corpse from the ring. But he won the fight legit, even if Maidana finished the fight on the front foot. Khan was miles ahead by then. MTF

Yeah. More 10-8 in my opinion too. Ropes held Khan up a few times too. Definitely would've preferred to be mad in there and not khan.
Khan beat Maidana clearly imo, even if he was flopping around the ring like a fish out of water for the last couple rounds
The round where Khan was wobbling around like a guppy fish (10 I think) was a definite 10-8 round for Madonna. Even with that round he lost IMO. Not sure where the other 10-8 rounds were. And Khan ran for the "second half of the fight" is bullshit. He got shitkicked in round 10 and Maidana was chasing him wildly in round 11 but he was in control up to that point and round 12 was Khan's. It really wasn't a hard fight to score - clear rounds all the way through. MTF
Khan won by a round (and a point deduction) on two cards and a point deduction on the other. Not sure there was anything suspicious about those cards. The only bone of contention IMO was the round Madonna shitkicked Khan, which should have been a 10-8 round but even if you give Maidana that one he still loses a MD. MTF
Well he lost the 10th 10-8 and the 11th on my card, so I had him three points up going into the stretch. That's a pretty big lead in my book. MTF :dunno:
No way was round 12 Khan's - he flurried a bit at the end but he was running for his life for 2:45 of it

Aye, Cortez was fucking garbage. I don't really want to rewatch the fight - watching Khan live is fun because his shitty chin means he's literally a jab away from a chicken dance but he has zero rewatchability (unless it's the Prescott fight, which I've rewatched a lot) - but there was a pretty lengthy discussion on this immediately after it happened and I was pretty sure Khan had won legit. Close because of the end rounds but clear. MTF
I found the official cards 1, 2, 5, 8 & 9 were unanimous Khan rounds. 3, 7, 10 & 11 unanimous Maidana rounds (one 10-8 to each man on all 3 cards plus a point deduction from Maidana) so the key rounds were 4, 6, 8 & 12; 3 of those 4 rounds would have to go to Maidana for it to be a draw. To me 12 is a nailed on Maidana round. I'll rewatch 4, 6 & 8 later and tell you how I score them as a completely 100% impartial party with no known biases on the matter.

Khan wasn't that hurt in round 10, he was playing possum for a lot of it, and he CLEARLY won the 12th you mugs.
Getting battered for 2:45 then flurrying for 10 seconds only wins you a round on the card of a MOLE, Slice! :will:
