    Yawnzzzzzzz.

    X-Men movies are so boring.
Only one worth watching was the McAvoy/Fassbender one (without boring Jackman)

Looks awesome, and at the same time seems like too much going on to fit into one story. I'm wondering if the story will be moving too fast and cause the film to be average because of bad pacing.

Love it!! But where does this leaves the "First class" movies? I liked the direction they were taking with that one.

Yup. Best movie of the entire series.
Jackman's Wolverine is like 'dogshit': everywhere.

This film is tying together both the old cast storyline with the 'First Class' storyline. I am sure this new film will do proper justice to both. from the trailer we see Mystic in a Vietnam like setting, the Sentinel origins starts in the Nixon era, etc which points that this can be perceived as a 'sequel' to First Class and maybe, just maybe a sequel to 'The Last Stand' (I said 'maybe' because I have read rumours that director Brian Singer hated what was done with the characters in 'The Last stand' and that he is trying to 'erase' those mistakes in this film. He will have to answer a LOT about Professor Xavier: how come he is ALIVE as an old man and how he is WALKING in the younger version post 'First Class'). That said I agree with what is said about Wolverine: he is NOT and never was the main character in the X-Men comicbooks. The fact that the X-Men leader, Cyclops, was killed in the third movie and also Jean Grey was downright stupid. This film should end with bringing Cyclops back or I'll be forever pisssed!!! X-Men without Cyclops and Jean Grey is like Justice League without Superman and Wonder Woman...incomplete.

X-men scored $36 million on it's first day. Is that on par with, below or above expectation?

That is very good and exactly what the expectations are that it can open with a little above $100 million by Sunday if those numbers don't decline .

X-Men Days of Future Past watched this awesome film today and I have to rank it as perhaps THE best entry in the franchise. I will not spoil it for you. Go watch it. It has a great plot, solid performances and a very satisfying end that ties together all the loose ends and mistakes from ALL previous films. The franchise could end here if they want since this can be the perfect ending...or at last for the Wolverine centered stories. You'll have a blast with all the Quicksilver scenes. 9/10

Just saw it. Pretty good, but i have some questions.

In the second Wolverine movie when he went to Japan, the metal shogun stepped on his metal claws breaking them. So His Claws went back to being bone. But in this new movie, his claws were metal again in the future. And he looked much older.

Also who was the villain after the credits?

Apocalypse perhaps? I haven't seen the movie but I know that he is the villain of the next X-men movie.

I speculate that since that future scenario happens many years after the ending of The Wolverine and Magneto is now an ally, that probably he put metal back in his claws so he could be more efficient battling sentinels. The 'older Logan' look was just to make audiences aware of that time lapse, even though it was a violation of the character's immortal ageless trait from the comicbooks and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Interesting. WHy did they make it many years later if they approached him just after Wolverine? What have they been doing for some long?

The villain after the credits is En Sabah Nur, otherwise known as Apocalypse. The X-men's arch enemy.

I saw it and loved it. Good way to tie the loose ends and fix the mess of the previous ones. Quicksilver was awesome. Wonder what happens now, they should just continue with the first class cast. I like Ian Mckellen, but Fassbender as Magneto is perfect.

I though Wolverine does age but slower than a human.

Saw it and liked it too. I think this was the first Marvel film not to have a Stan Lee sighting in it. Couple things I didn't like. All of a sudden Kitty Pride has 2 powers? The ability to transport people through time which I'm sure was never in the comic books? That's bullshit, it's just like in X-Men 2 when that one chick could run fast AND could detect other mutants. A mutant usually has only 1 central power. They may be able to do more than one thing like drain energy and shoot it out but even then that's basically a power dealing with one trait. Being able to phase through solid objects has fuck all to do with time travel just like being able to run fast has nothing to do with detecting other mutants. In both instances it would have been better to just make up some random mutant to do these things. Also the guy named Sunspot was not a fire shooting heat spouting mofo like in the movies. When he powered up he would turn all black, you know kind of like the color of sun spots, and his power was super strength.

Anyway I'm nitpicking here, I still liked the movie and to be honest the version of Sunspot in the movie was pretty freaking cool. 7.5/10.

Yeah, the Kitty Pride powers confused be too and Sunspot looked more like The Human Torch.

In the 1980 X-Men comicbook 'Days of Future Past' it was Kitty Pride, not Wolverine, the one who was send back from the future to the past (present for the readers) to her younger self to prevent the assassination of a senator by Mystique which will cause to start the events of the Sentinels suppressing mutants for good. Wolverine helps her, but she was the story's main character. And yeah, it was someone else, not her own power that help her time travel.

Solid movie. I think that X Men:First Class is the best of the series followed by X2, then this one. Quicksilver's scene was off the hook. That was awesome.

Here is Quicksilver's scene. Watch it while you can. Great choice of music too.

This guy was good but I think they are going with an "older" Quicksilver in the Ultron movie, so I can see why they have a different actor. I think two different studios own the rights to the character. Could be another reason.
