Hopefully the Spurs win this time and the Heat remain with 2 rings "only". They're not deserving of a dynasty after the way they colluded. Plus I want Timmy to win one more and call it a career.

REED Felt the Same about Tim Duncan in Last Year's Finals...While his GAME was Obviously BEYOND Reproach, REED Never Cared Much for Duncan Because of the PERCEPTION he's Boring & Lacks Passion...

Then he MISSED a Gimme Layup & was Soooo Pissed @ himself, he Slammed Both Hands into the Court in DISGUST...If that Wasn't Enough, Dude was as DEJECTED & DEVASTATED as Anybody REED's Seen in a Post-Game Presser...

@ that Moment, REED Finally GOT Tim Duncan....Respect was Always There, but REED Actually LIKES Duncan Now...REED Likes How Duncan's Talking a Little Bit of Shit Too (for Him), Gearing Up for the Finals...

Yeah I remember that too. I felt soo bad for Duncan. He didn't deserve to have that on him. I've heard old head NBA players talk about it. They say something like that, you never get over it your whole life. Even if they win these finals he'll still have that bunny he missed that would have netted him one more championship.

Kevin Love seen visiting Boston and here's shaking hands with Rondo. If the C's draft a solid player they can sign Love to a max next offseason. A trade would only gut their roster.

I don't think they have much to lose. The issue with waiting is the Timberwolves certainly will not and will be looking to unload him for anything of value. I do not think you can afford to just wait for his contract to expire when some other team can swoop him up and convince him to sign an extension.

Furthermore, NBA rules regarding Bird rights and contract exceptions mean that Love can only receive the largest amount of money from the Timberwolves, meaning a sign and trade, ergo, Love simply waiting for his contract to expire to take less money is unlikely, and for this reason he has openly leveraged the Timberwolves into trading him(as Bird Rights are transferred upon trades) so that he can receive greater compensation.

I think a trade is definitely imminent and they can likely get away with something reasonable. Besides, it wouldn't be the first time the Timberwolves sent a star player for peanuts to the Celtics.

    Garnett?

Minnesota fucked that one up. Potentially they could have pulled Al Jefferson AND Steph Curry out of that trade, but they fucked up and drafted Johnny Flynn just ahead of Curry with the pick they got from Boston.

Idiots also picked and traded away Ty Lawson in the same draft, for a later pick that ended up being garbage.

Its not worth it trading for Love to play with a shit roster (see knicks and melo example), when they can draft someone like Randle which could, in time produce the same stats Love does. Love is a nice piece to complete a solid starting five but not worth too much in assets.

Their management was absolutely abysmal. Trading KG for virtually nothing as a buddy buddy favour then drafting 3 point guards on draft night was one of the strangest moves ever.

And it wasn't like this was some hindsight is 20/20 thing, no one understood the decision to draft Flynn after taking Rubio. Everyone was pretty much laughing at them. In hindsight I would've passed on Rubio, nabbed Curry then nab DeRozan with the second pick, but even without that benefit, Rubio and Hill(if you think Hill can play C which he occasionally does a rotation player) and Rubio and Derozan made far more sense than the crap they pulled....OR Rubio and Curry since Curry has an obvious ability to play shooting guard if you want to go that route.

And DeRozan was the best wing available so again, it's not an issue of hindsight. Just awfulness.

I'm not sure how Hibbert and Stephenson recover from this season. Both guys have literally become a joke, now. The only Pacers who can come away with credibility are Paul George and David West.

Vogel is ok in my book, but there needs to be a trade there to shake things up.

Yeah, Stephenson seems to have plenty of upside. I'm sure a lot of teams with a veteran presence, wouldn't mind having him around as an irritant to the other teams.

The whole "waking a sleeping giant" bullshit. Most teams don't have players as mentally confident and capable as Lebron.

Stephenson is the closest thing they have to a playmaker. It's up to Vogel to straighten him up and integrate his talents into the team's offensive structure. They would be stupid to let him go.

Thing is bro, I'm not so sure he can mature. I'm convinced the dude is borderline RETARDED... He played well in a couple of playoff games but overall, he's kind of a scrub. I would get rid of him and bring in someone who won't be a distraction to his team

That is one way to look at it, but he's still on his rookie contract and kinda new to the league and I think it's only fair to factor in the steady progress he's made as a player. The word is he's gotten better each season the last 3 years. I totally get what you say about the contract year players, but I'd be more worried about guys who've at least had their first nonrookie contract or even after because a guy has to set trends.

This bald asshole on the show with wilbon claims even if duncan wins a 5th ring this year he is not on the level of bryant or earvin johnson. I consider johnson the best of the three but duncan has already had a greater career than bryant and consider it preposterous to think otherwise.

he's been a better more dominant player for his entire career. a force defensively up until a few years ago and still a very good defensive player despite being old as fuck. duncan has been the best player on the best team in the league 3 times, if not 4. that was the case with bryant twice maybe, but more realistically once. bryant sells tickets better, thats about his only edge

that is more arguable since james has actually been the best player in the league the past 5 or 6 years and at no point in bryants career did he have such a stretch. duncan is more accomplished thus far but it seems james will eventually surpass his accomplishments.
