Shit if midget stalllone can be tough, cruise can be. At least cruise does his own stunts.

You have a bad habbit of reading spoilers and passing them off as your own theory. If you did that here panch, i will be upset.

I swear I have not. I have missed the boat quite a few times (read my Game of Thrones predictions from two weeks ago). But this trailer kind of points at that when Emily Blunt tells him '...when you wake up'. I hope I'm wrong because if so the trailer gave away the twist of the story.

She says "when you wake up" because he keeps relieving the same day over and over again and I think he dies everytime or something. Supposed to be similar to Groundhog Day in that respect. So I wouldn't put too much confidence in your theory.

I saw the movie. Good movie but I expected it to be better, because of all the great reviews. Still 8 out of 10.

It looks like Edge of Tomorrow is going to bomb bigtime. It made only $10 million on its first day. Expect a $30 million weekend opening. Such a shame for a good movie like this.

It's competing against Fault of our Stars. It's one of the few weekends where the girl will decide which movie to watch and force their mans to see this shit.

'Fault' is most likely going to win the weekend with over $58 million. 'Malefient' will be #2 and 'Edge' will disappoint in the third place.

Solid movie. Enjoyed it. Cruise picks great projects for the most part. His work is underrated. He let Emily Blunt shine and she was excellent.

Going to see this tonight. Is it worth the 3D fake IMAX treatment, or should I just stick to the regular version?

Thanks guys, just saw the regular version.

Good, not great film. If you like movies with exasperated Tom Cruise running away from stuff, learning valuable lessons along the way, being much smarter at the end then he was at the beginning, while sacrificing himself for the greater good.....well, then this one is for you.

Usual Tom Cruise action movie tropes, but I liked it. It was fun, as was the Emily Blunt character.

The special effects were blended in nicely, backgrounds AND action scenes. They seem to be getting better and better at this.

A couple of the usual cop-outs near the end, but I can forgive them for that.

    7/10

It never does. I have perfect fucking vision, can someone tell me why they think a guy like me who never wears glasses would enjoy his movie experience by adding glasses to the equation? If you wanna make a movie 3D, then my advice...make the whole fucking screen 3D. Take away the fucking glasses and I don't mind as much.

There my rant is over, you guys can go back to dissing the great Tom Cruise again.

Edge of Tomorrow - Not bad for an action sci-fi but felt gimmicky at times. The biggest problem I felt the film had was that the action sequences felt at odds with the protagonist's mission. Although this should have been an action sci-fi the story and the mission seemed to get in the actions way. The action was worked into the story but it was on such a small scale that the action seemed to take a back seat to everything else like the comedy, the time shifts, the mission, etc. This kind of ruined the flow of the story for me and I didn't enjoy it as much as I think I should have. By the end it almost felt more sci-fi drama then sci-fi action to me but the problem is the story wasn't strong enough for it to take that route. Still though, it wasn't a bad movie at all. 6/10

I don't know, I didn't get that either, but to be honest I didn't even enjoy it enough to give a fuck. I mean IMO it was way better than Oblivion, but another thing I hated about EoT was the final mission. Everything just worked out too perfectly for the good guys and it was so obvious that the only reason, was because it was written that way.
