    I always thought that Martinez was overrated, but still, I think that this was a only a shell of the fighter he once was.

    ....NOPE....neither guy is prime...but Martinez looks like a PRINCE for 11 1/2 rounds vs. 180 lbs Chavez jr....and even though he had a rough few rounds vs. Murray he still won 8-9 rounds...

    the chavez fight was nearly 2 years ago. And he didn't won 9 rounds against Murray. I tought he won that fight by a point, but I wouldnt had a problem with a draw or even a win for Murray. And Murray is pretty much garbage

    Yeah....but Cotto being the A side fighter the draw..the shit..the MAN...decided fuck Martinez I want every....that what Martinez was pissed about..Cotto treating him like a son during negotiations.....but HBO said something about Cotto just allowing Martinez to come out last and be introduce last....it was all mind games I gues...

    Yeah nobody picked a dominating performance like that.

    And to be honest, cotto has looked better before. He seemed hesitant at times. Not good against someone like mayweather.

    Yes. We knew Martinez had recent hand trouble and had kneee surgery.

    We didn't know he actually had prosthetic legs. He looked like he had fake legs in that fight.

    Given Martinez's style, bouncing in and out of range, this was not to be and it was target practice for Cotto. martinez is not even used to standing in range with his hands up. Completely out of his element.

    My actual guess is that the knee felt fine before the fight and he fucked it up royally on those early knockdowns.

    Ok genius, name Cotto's best performance. This was his biggest victory ever where he dominated the champion for the entire during of the bout. Before the opening bell no one was calling Martinez a corpse.

    This wasn't even in his top ten best wins. I said plenty of times before the fight Martinez knee was shot. No one knew to this extent but it was obvious from the outset
