Is that a fact or just speculation? I now a lot of other younger actors have been added but none of them have been declared as the 'stars' of the film unlike Ford, Hamill & Fisher who are getting all the media attention.

It's too bad he didn't break his neck. Some of these geriatric actors need to retire. I don't like seeing actors I used to love looking like great great grandfathers all the while trying to relive their glory days.

yeah, we need young people in makeup and CGI to play old people. We dont need people were young actors and now are old playing old actors. Fuck that.

I agree wit lb 4 lb...it is sad

its all to make a few extra bucks on the old nostalgia ploy...why not just start a whole different star wars script and era? the old characters aren't needed..just like Yoda wasn't needed to have a lightsaber battle in attack of the clones

mark hamill and carrie fisher are probably happy about it cos they get their first acting roles in 15 years...nice break from making a living from appearing at sci fi conventions

Why would they make a prequel and not have a young yoda showing everyone what makes him great?

well it wasn't a "young" yoda, was it?

for these next movies they should have just had a brand new script way into the future, and just have a few lines with nostalgic references to darth vader

True. But that was the funniest shit ever. All these people in the theater were emo about it "YEAH YODA! GET HIM!!" and I was laughing my fucking ass off at this foot-tall green thing twirling around... it almost made it worth the $10 I wasted going to see that whack shit

    Old, Young, whatever.

I'm most likely not going to watch this trash, but it will still be about 30 times better then anything George Lucas has pumped out in the last 30 years.

Compared to the episodes in the 70s, yes it was young yoda.

You know that Yoda was over 500 years when he trained Luke, right? A mere twentysomething years in exile apparently rusted him badly. But the funniest thing in Episode 2 AOTC was that he was using his cane, drops it, becomes this twirling acrobatic expert in the lightsaber duel, just to grab the cane again and continue limping afterwards.

20 years for a being who lived over 500 years is as short as passing a gas.

you act like your some kind of expert, when in reality, you dont know that for a fact.

Is a fictional character. We can speculate til New Year's Eve.

Well, maybe Yoda lasted that long while he lived at Coruscant's Jedi Temple having nutritious succulent meals, but when he went to Dagobah, the diet of reptiles, worms and swamp amphibians plus the muggy humidity did what no Sith Lord could do to him: kill him.
