A bunch of unknowns with a bunch of geriatric actors in a still incomplete set of a film that hasn't started filming yet.

I'm more excited about the new Jurrasic Park. That's the one 'franchise' I don't mind them milking to death and beyond.

  11. You're completely missing the point.
Do you know how many people around the world have been waiting just to see such a photo published?

You're guilty of posting 'news' on movie that haven't even been fucking talked about yet (see, Marvel threads).

    Star Wars: Episode VII
    1 - Script complete
    2 - Casting complete
    3 - Filming starts ASAP
    4 - Release-date December 2015
5 - Episodes VIII and IX already in pre-prod.

Forget Marvel and DC and all that shitl...Star Wars is BACK, baby!! :bears:

I was just messing with you. I AM the biggest Star Wars fan since watching the first film upon its release in 1977. I still own all the merchandise that came out on 1978 including the very first Star Wars Calendar. I am a little worried that J.J. Abrams might be too nostalgic with the original films and ruin it just like Superman The Movie fan Bryan Singer ruined Superman Returns. The admission he made of not following 'the canon' post Return of The Jedi has many fans worried. Lets hope there is a great script and not a 'gee look at the original cast in costumes again!' mindless excuse of a plot.

Well JJ Abrams didn't fuck up the Star Trek franchise. He might do a good job with this one as well.

Hardcore Trek fans hated both of Abrams films. They named the last one 'the worst Star trek film ever'. But non-fans enjoyed those films. Abrams never hided the fact that he wasn't a Star Trek fan, but a total Star Wars geek...maybe that is the root of the problem with Trekkers (Trekies).

And now...a Star Wars trailer Guardians of The Galaxy style!

I don't really like Abram's Star Trek franchise. It wasn't bad but he didn't try to make new ground. He followed the typical blockbuster formula. Your first rule for making a great film should be to tell a great story, not follow some damn prewritten step book on making a blockbuster. Can film makers at least try to get away from cliche' ridden films that do the same things over and over.

  18. Fact is, Abrahamovic's 'Star Trek' movies are the best thing to happen to 'Star Trek' since the series ended in 1969.
Anything else since then has been fucking garbage.

    (except this:

Actually...that isn't a fact at all. It's actually an opinion millions of Star Trek the next Generation fans would disagree with.
