Seamus Coleman has signed a new 5-year deal with the Toffees.

Aside from the Euro break in spring this season, I see two other changes. The league usually breaks for the FA Cup rounds 3,4, and 5. Then reschedules any matches that coincide with round 6 and after. It looks like they're playing matches midweek and keeping the weekend of round 6 open this season. Also, if the winner of the FA Cup has already qualified for the CL, the runner up will no longer be given an automatic spot in the Europa League. It will go to the next team down in the table after the other qualifiers. Had that rule been changed last season it would have been Man U instead of Hull City with the third spot in the Europa League.

 

We've got the first controversy of the season. Goddamn Gibraltar. First year in UEFA and already can't get their shit together.
