He scored all his goals here when Cabaye was here. He did nothing after that. He is a decent finisher, though, and would be a good signing at the price being touted. He's a fucking mercenary, mind, so if I were an Arse fan I wouldn't get too attached to the cunt.

What Feebs says. Remy is a mercenary. Arsenal have a squad full of mecenaries and need to start recruiting a few players with a bit of heart and loyalty.

I think Suarez should get in trouble even more often. For Suarez is a social gadfly, he brings out the best in the dimwitted cart-horses of society!!! You've never been so active squire!! I thank Suarez for pricking you out of your slumber.

When you go through it, Arsenal have attracted a phenomenal number of disloyal cuntish fuckers. Some of them were intermediates, like William Gallas, who whored his arse to all the clubs of London. Others like Nasri were just plain shits. Eduardo was another, Suarez-lite with his bullshit. Kolo Toure.......whose fat bum now resides on the Anfield bench, bereft of his wifes diet pills. Clichy. The list is endless. Fabregas. Rejected by Barcelona, he couldn't go running back to them fast enough after Arsenal turned him into a winner, now he plays for Chelski. Terrible.

Ramsay was stood by when he was injured. I hope he repays it. Wilshere looks flighty.

Does anyone know what the punishment is for Man City overspending least season?

I remember the story came out about the time Barca got in trouble but then I didn't hear any follow up to it.

I read they were going to be fined $82 million, could not spend over £49 million on transfers for this coming season and their champions league squad for this coming season to be reduced from 25 players to 21 (they will need to name 5 home-grown players in their champions league squad, originally it was 8 home-grown players).

I've never heard of Van Dijk, but I know Soothampton have sold Adam Lallana to Livurpuel for £25 million, with Bournemouth getting 25% of that.

Curtis Woodhouse was on the radio last night talking about his loss to Limond. He was very gracious in defeat as he normally is. "The better man won" he said, no excuses needed.

*Insert Hut's standard spiel about it being a GROTESQUE commentary on modern fitbaw that a club that's been among the five or ten best supported clubs in Europe over the last 15 years with match day revenues to match have been reduced to the status of feeder for provincial nobodies like Southampton & Norwich blahdy blah blah*

So'hampton is going after Twente midfielder Dusan Tadic. He's probably the best Serbian attacking player atm.

Jut*Jut raises a fair point aboot less prestigeous teams being currently able tae wrestle players offae a team which regularly plays Champions League fitba. We'll SEE hoo that plays oot o'er the next years i.e. whether this EPL bubble can continae.

Anyhoo, whit cannae be argued is hoo many tip top players Soothampton has produced from it's stable wi'oot stealing players (like Liverpuel dae  just kilting, Irish). Wid love tae see a Soothampton top eleven team... who'd be in it?

It sucks being a fan of a smaller club during the transfer window. You're basically finding out what you're going to lose, not what you're going to get.

"Yeah you lost one of your best players, but don't worry. That new signing scored 8 goals for that lower mid table team you vaguely recall the name of. People who have seen him play say he potentially has potential."

in terms of the money, it's small compared to the likes of Barca, Real, Chelsea, Shitty, ManUre, etc.

no way around it, we can't compete with them

It is a shocking fucking indictment on modern football that Chelsea and Man City are considered 'bigger clubs' than Celtic who cannot compete with them. Absolutely disgusting.

How do you think we feel? 13th highest attendance in Europe and 25th in the 'money league' (directly above Benfica and Ajax) but we can't compete with Southampton and Swansea according to our manager.

Exactly! And it'll be the final victory of pish modern fitbaw when that can stand without cantankerous pricks like me & you at least kicking up about it. Rupert Murdoch can turn fitbaw on its head & there's nothing anyone can do but I'm not handing over the english language without a fight.

That Deloitte money league thing makes depressing reading for NUFC fans. In 1997 we were the 5th richest club in the world, basking in the after-glow of the Keegan era and the relative 'success' that brought. By 2003, when Sir Bob had us in the UEFA money league again, we were 9th generating £139.3m, more money that Barcelona, BVB and only £20m less than Bayern Munchen.

Yet since the FCB has taken over, revenue has actually DECREASED every single year of his tenure, so that this year we are worth £111.9m - nearly £30m a year less than a decade ago. How is that possible with record TV deals being struck, international TV rights at all-time levels, ticket prices through the roof and his pocketing profit from the club for the last two years running?

    Here the fucking answer:

We have a duty to be cantankerous about the state of modern football and I will uphold it to the last.
