Fucking....went out for my lunch and passed a basement cafe advertising 'iced latte's' for 2 quid. Truthfully i didn't really know what 'iced coffee' is meant to be but i figured it was some sort of frappucino dealy?

'Do you do the iced coffee with just regular coffee rather than latte?'
*look at each other* erm yeah, no problem.

Hot black coffee with ice cubes in it :atu:issed: Thats not even a fucking thing.

 

Iced coffee is really popular over here... Not sure why... Coffee only tastes good hot

 

I've had frappucino a couple of times and liked it. Is there a difference? I thought i'd at least get, you know, coffee served ice cold. I think they just saw me coming.

 

I have no idea what constitutes Frappucino

My understanding of iced coffee is that it is literally the same as hot coffee, only it isn't hot

Also, Celtic is always a better club when Scott Brown is not playing

 

Something like a frappucino usually has additional ingredients which is why it will taste ok. It's not just plain coffee served cold.

 

yeah, frappucino's almost like coffee ice cream, as i remember. but i don't mind black coffee cold either, thats what i was expecting. Proper ice cold black coffee. She gave me a fucking normal hot black coffee and plonked ice cubes in it :: That isn't anything.

Frappucino's are awesome. Like a coffee milkshake.

 

It isn't anything :: I think she just responded ad hoc. They were advertising iced latte, i asked for it black and rather than saying 'nah we dont do that, sorry' and me walking out she just plonked ice cubes in a black coffee & took my two quid. I've practically been mugged today.

 

Anyway, i think thats about 10 posts this fascinating iced coffee incident has dragged out over now, sorry :: Lets speak no more of it.
