Riley doesnt get desperate. The man is always chill. If Lebron Left, Riley would still be chill, because he is pretty damn good at his job and can make things happen.
again, even if it does. He is a professional. Do you realize the cap space he will have if all three leave? The man can build an amazing team with that scratch.
Eventually, yes. Why not? But not this offseason. He would be left with Wade and a bunch of roleplayers.
Riley is PRAYING bosh leaves for Houston. Because if that happens, Melo and Bron will be teammates on the heat.
I don't get why Heat fans have such a hard on for Melo. He's undisciplined as fuck, can't defend. Not sure how he'll fit Spo's system of trapping defense. I think they need a big, more than anything. As for Bosh, that's a shit load of money they are offering him in Houston. But why would they force him out if they have nobody else who can play center?
What do you mean? Melo and bron want be team mates, the money just needs to be right. WIth Bosh out the picture it can happen.
youte forgetting bron wants the max and wade wont take a huge paycut. That leaves them with fuck all to spend on a team. Yeah, a team, those guys that actually matter if you want to win.
wade is taking a pay cut and bosh leaving would give them significant cap space. Bosh was making lebron James money.
How much is Wade willing reduce his salary to, though? I mean for Melo to come, it would have to be by a substantial amount. And they still need big man who can grab some boards and block some shots and how many are available?
It doesnt have to be much at all. And Wade already opted out, so he can take what they offer him or bounce. And if Wade bounces, it's even better.
I mean adding Melo and losing Bosh doesn't make the team that much better, especially with Wade another year older.
I agree with this. I say drop the big 3 crap go with a big 2 and use the remaining money to fill the team with better more reliable role players. As for the center, didn't the Heat sign Oden last season? Here's an idea, why not play the big guy.
It's not the playoffs though. They need to play him so he can get some reps in and be ready by playoff time. The guy hadn't played in what 4 years? Obviously there's going to be some rust. If they play him it solves 1 of 2 issues. He either gets better or at least know they need to cut him.
It would. But what if Bosh takes the Houston offer? Then they need a good big man who can defend. In all honesty about Wade, he just needs to hit the bench.
Losing their only serviceable big man could be a problem. Maybe lining Melo and McRoberts up at the 4 and 5 would be a good thing.
Bosh is a power forward and isnt that powerful. Also, Melo averaged more rebounds than bosh in the 2013-2014 season. Melo is 2 inches shorter but weighs more. It wont be a big deal. Their blocks really arent that different either. Miami needs offense. Melo will bring that.
I have insiders and I've proved it, I report shit to fightbeaters before you see it from the media. I have heard NOTHING today. Everyone is being quiet. Sometimes I hear things late, I'll post if I hear anything regarding any teams. Now the following is OPINION. I think Bron is going to Cleveland, Bosh will then go to the Rockets. IF Bron stays in Miami and Bosh leaves to Houston and Miami picks up Melo, they will be a WORSE team. They HAVE to know it. The Granger and McRoberts signings were desperation, basically going to get Napier because LeBron says so, is DESPERATION.
Anthony instead of bosh is a huge upgrade offensively and negligible defensively. It bumps wade to the third option
Again, melo averaged more rebounds this past season. Also, melo averages more steals career wise. So whats your issue?
How would getting a better all around player in Melo be worse? And why would lebron go from a championship caliber team, to a team that he has to build to be championship caliber?
A better all around offensive player you mean? They replace Melo with Bosh, they will be MUCH worse defensively, their front court will be possibly the worst defensive frontcourt in the NBA. Bron would go to Cleveland because it would be a STORY, to right a wrong, and with him, Irving, and possibly Love, that would be a much younger "Big 3" and a younger bench. And don't doubt for a second that Minn wouldn't trade Love for Wiggins + a few other young players or picks. Thats MUCH better than GS would be offer that they haven't even offered. Bron + Iriving + Love > Bron + Bosh + Wade Simple as that.
