I like how that one guy tries to argue the behavior of the fans and the number of arrests was not a problem because there weren't any more than some standard club match back home in England.

    Flawless logic.

Maybe somebody should have brought over a bunch of rowdy people to party at his house and wreck shit. "It's not a big deal as i do this all the time in my home" is probably not an excuse he would accept me thinks.

    RIP.

He was a quality player. Looked like he could do anything with the ball at his feet.

In my experience, people from the Northeast part of the US (not all but the bigger cities Philadelphia, NYC, Boston, etc) tend to be louder and more aggressive than the rest of Americans (sans Chicago, you can group Chicago in with the first group even though it's Midwest.) New Yorkers being the worst.

Far be it from me tae saepport the defence o' an Irishman, but Ah'm glad Ye set the record straight re: Lawro, like.

Although, Ah am offended that Josip Drmic been told he 'should have put a skirt on' aftae that particularly weak shot at goal... it is an insult tae all o' the kilt wearing fraternity.

i think he was saying that 10 out of 10k being arrested as drunk and disorderly is just a pretty standard ratio for people out doing anything. Put on a children's fun fair large enough and 10 plonkers will probably turn up fall over drunk and get nicked.

I don't know about louder, but I do know that those of us from the greater NYC metro area tend to be disproportionately more awesome than anyone from anywhere else in the country, in particular the cultural wasteland that is southern CA

I think if I moved to America i might try living in Portland. I think I'd like it there. Try to get a job in their glorious planning department cleaning the toilets or something.

Detroit is world renowned for it's irish pubs. I've heard they're more irish than the ones in Dublin.

Buy now then! Lets all chip in and buy a 8 bedroom mansion 10 minutes walk from downtown! We can arm Jimmy to the teeth and he can be our security. I'll grow potatoes in the urban prairies and hunt quail.

Sad shit. There's a pretty similar sell off going on in Greece, not quite as extreme but still really cheap. I was saying to the old man he should get himself somewhere for his retirement while the going's good.

If I had the money to buy a great big house I'd make sure it came with a bowling alley, pool + snooker table, casino, boxing ring, basketball court...you name it.
