Bosh is not better defensively than Melo. Look at the stats. Honestly, going to the cavs would be fucking stupid if you can get melo and keep wade. Bron would make melo a so much better player than he currently is.
Right Here, Homey!!!... ALL Alooooooooooooooong, REED's Said he Thought Bron, the Prodigal Son, Would Return Home, if Miami FAILED to Win it's 3rd Straight Championship... Kyrie Irving was ALWAYS the Key to the Point REED Made & Now Irving's Locked In...The Plan is Now in Place for Cleveland to Get Kevin Love as Well... As REED has HOPED All Alooooooooong, LeBron James is Heading Back to Cleveland & Within 1-3 Years (Perhaps as Early as NEXT Season), he'll Bring a CHAMPIONSHIP to that City & ENHANCE his Already Stellar Legacy... Dan Gilbert will PUBLICLY Kiss Bron's Ring, Ass or WHATEVER Else Bron Wants him to Kiss & the City will Completely FORGIVE Him, Across the Board...It'll Be Like a Popular Cat from the Neighborhood Being Released from Prison, x 1,000; a Tremendous OUTPOURING of Love... REED:cheer:
Its not clear? Miami were blown out in the finals. Duncan, Splitter and even Diaw dominated in the paint. The winning margin was 14.5 points a game with the Spurs shooting 52.8% from the field, both NBA finals records. So what are the Heats plan to improve on this? Get Melo and his extra rebound a game? McRoberts coming in with the hustle?
He was Pivotal in the ASSWHIPPING the Spurs Administered in the 2014 NBA Finals, Too... Dwyane Wade ISN'T a Viable Piece to a CHAMPIONSHIP Winning Puzzle, Anymore...@ BEST, he's a Middle of the Pack 2-Guard, These Days, but Probably WORSE than That...& he's Going to Miss a MINIMUM of 30-35 Games Next Season... Wade Gave Miami NATHAN in the Finals, so Resting Wade All those Regular Season Games was for Naught... REED:kidcool:
Dude your basing too much on stats. The Heat neutered Bosh, made him change his game. Bosh could do 20 and 10 if they didn't turn him into a jump shooting stretch 4/5. http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/20...0140513_1_chris-bosh-brooklyn-nets-miami-heat "That's what we need him to do on this team," guard Dwyane Wade said. "We've went away from back-to-the-basket Chris Bosh. I don't think he's really concerned about people saying he's too this or too that. It's what we need him to do on this team. Chris understands that. Him out there stretching the floor is what we need. He's a big shot maker." http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11046586/reinvention-chris-bosh " To appease critics ahead of a contract year in 2010, he bulked up and became the only NBA player that season to average 24 points and 10 rebounds. "Nobody cared," Bosh says. "Even when I lived in the paint. I put up 24 and 10 in Toronto and lost and people complained. I put up 18 and 8 here and win and people still complain." "Twenty and 10 is easy, I think," Bosh says. "You give me enough shots, I'll average 20. You give me a particular system where I stick close to the basket, I'll average 10 rebounds. But it's different here. We're competing for a championship, and that's what it's all about." You can put a poll on any non Miami/NY basketball site and not one would say Melo is the better defensive player. Bosh is a + defender, Melo isn't. Melo + Bron + Wade is not a good fit at all. They would lead the lead in scoring, but the TEAM itself would not be as good as last year. They wouldn't be able to stop ANYONE inside.
Yeah. So Bron is not killing himself to carry the team, melo can help out leaving james fresh to play. You are talking about a spurs team that had a perfect finals. They will never duplicate that shit again.
They could stop people easier, with Bosh than Melo. Their interior defense would be the WORST in the NBA.
Bosh won't be anything other than a stretch 4 for u guys. I'd be disappointed as a rockets fan if they end up with bosh rather than james, Anthony, love or even gasol
That's what we need from him. And to backup Dwight because Asik is outta here. The Rockets were 2nd in the NBA offensively, their PF's shot 27% from mid range. Bosh shot 48%. So he helps by spreading the floor for Harden and Parsons to drive, and he sure as hell will do a better job defensively on LMA, Griffin, Randolf, etc...than T. Jones. He's a better fit/need than Melo. As far as KLove, well we'd have to give up Parsons.
You have a higher opinion of bosh as a post defender than I do. I think the 4s in the west u mentioned shit all over him
Bosh is More of a Defensive PRESENCE than Melo & It's Not Even Close...Bosh Will At Least ATTEMPT to Defend, Whereas Melo is INDIFFERENT, @ Best... A BULK of Post Defense Goes BEYOND Stats; Deflecting Entry Passes, Drawing Charges, ALTERING Shots, w/Out Blocking Them, etc...Melo is Non-Existent Defensively, Post OR Perimeter...Melo Plays TURNSTILE Defense; Bosh is @ Least ABOVE Average, Defensively... Honestly, James Harden's AS GOOD, or BETTER Defensively, As Melo Is, yet His Team Excuses Harden's Piss Poor Defense Because of Asthma...Melo DOESN'T Even Have a Built In Medical Excuse to Explain his SHITTY Defense..Melo's a Better OVERALL Fit in Miami, @ This Stage of their Careers, but Having Said That, Miami Would Be WORSE, Defensively... Cleveland's Bron's HOME; His WIFE is From There, He's From There, his Mother is From There, his Boys are From There...& it's the 1 Place he Can Go, Where There'd Be ZERO Backlash from the Media, In Terms of Cherrypicking or Manufacturing a Team... Then Factor in Kyrie Irving Re-Signing Already & Kevin Love Making it KNOWN he'd Play w/Bron...Leaving Those Names OUT of the Equation, Cleveland Also Has Dion Waiters, Tristan Thompson and Anderson Varejao Under Contract...Anthony Bennett Showed SIGNS of Life Late Last Season & Who Knows What Luol Deng Will Do???... Cleveland has MORE Championship Potential than Miami, as Early as 2015, w/Bron...Bron, Love & Kyrie, w/the Role Players REED Noted, is A LOT Better (& YOUNGER) than Bron, Melo or Whoever Else is Realistic, in Miami... Going to Cleveland Would Be Anything BUT "Stupid".... REED:nono:
Well I never said he'd shut them down, but it is our 2nd weakest position defensively, (Harden has the #1 spot on lock) but a front court of D12/Bosh/Parsons is probably the best froncourt in the NBA. They need spacing, Bosh provides it, they need someone reliable from mid range, Bosh provides that, they need someone to backup when D12 sits, Bosh provides it, they need someone to do a better job defensively than T. Jones, Bosh provides it.
All i know is Tex would take melo over bosh. And Tex is praying Melo dont go to the heat, cause it's game over folks.
I'd TAKE Melo, don't get me wrong, but Bosh is just a better fit. Scoring isn't the Rocket's problem. I'm def not scared of Melo joining the Heat, it would only be game over for the Heat. Spurs would be laughing their ass off if they met next year (if the Heat would make it to the Finals) and D12/Bosh would crush that team inside. They would shoot 70% :bravo:
Melo isn't even thinking about heat. his short list consists of Lakers, Knicks and Houston with both Lakers and Knicks as the frontrunners to sign him. The Knicks because of the higher pay and Phil Jackson's influence and Lakers because of Kobe and the Holywood life.
Riley's Grasping @ Straws, Signing Granger & McRoberts...McRoberts ISN'T a Bad Acquisition & Will Actually Contribute, but Who Knows what Granger has Left Anymore???... More than Anything, REED Thinks Riley's BOLD Press Conference Remarks, about "Looking for the 1st Door Out of Town", are Biting him in the Ass...LeBron James HASN'T Been Dictated to Since Middle Schoolointlaugh:...Wrong Ploy on Riley's Behalf... Bron Responded to that by Opting Out EARLIER than Required...& Now, Aside from Making it Know he Wants a MAX Deal, he's Been Non Communicative w/Wade, Bosh AND Riley... There's No Way that Can Be Looked @ Favorably, for Miami... REED:kidcool:
If Lebron leaves I doubt Riley sweats it too much in the sense it's not a death sentence to him. He's got 5 rings as a coach, 1 as a player and 2 as a GM. He'll figure out a way to rebuild a winner. That's why he can have a press conference like he did. Does he want to lose lebron? Of course not but what he said isn't all that far off base. I think his point was to pick at Lebron and his feeling about legacy and what great players have done when things have gotten tough. Lebron obviously doesn't care. If he left cleveland, he'll leave anywhere. His only loyalty is to himself...which it should be. "HOWEVER" If lebron does leave and Wade opted out thinking Lebron would be back...I'd watch my back if I were lebron. Wade gave up a shit ton of money for no good reason. I think Lebron stays in Miami and this has really been about getting Bosh out so Carmelo or Kevin Love can come in.
Bron Leaving WON'T Impact Riley's Legacy, but that Won't Absolve Him from POSSIBLY Handling the Situation Poorly, Either... He'd have Been Better Off Challenging Bron PRIVATELY, Instead of Through the Media...That Tact Simply DOES NOT Go Over Well w/Today's Generation of Athlete... Riley Will Keep the Heat Competitive, Mainly Because they're in the East...But Make No Mistake, the Heat WOULD NOT Be a Legitimate CHAMPIONSHIP Contender for the Next Season or 3... If Bron Returns to Cleveland & Eventually Wins Another Championship, it's THE Best NBA Feel Good Story EVER... As for Wade, he was DUMB for Opting Out...Wade Knows his Level of Decline BETTER than Anyone Else, yet he Gambled Anyways...He's FAILED to Hold Up his End of the Bargain the Last 2 Seasons & The Heat Basically Reverted to the Heat Squad Bron JETTED From 4 Years Ago... REED:kidcool:
Do you evision Bosh taking the Houston offer? Losing him would be a blow because as you said, Wade aint contributing.
I honestly wouldn't fear the Heat if they signed Melo. Even if they made it to the final against San Antonio again. He's not what they need at all.
Everything VERY quiet again today. My insiders don't know shit, haven't heard shit. With everything they have told me in the last week.... All I'm pretty sure about is Bron is either going to Cleveland or signing back with the Heat, BUT for two years with an opt out after one. If he leaves, Bosh WILL go to Houston. Bosh MAY leave even if Bron does come back with the type of contract I stated above. Melo wants to play with Bron and that's what he's waiting on, Phil is trying to unload contracts to offer Bron a max deal, that's just not going to happen. Melo ends up in either NY, Miami if Bosh grows a pair and says F the Heat and splits, or LA. Most likely, it's NY. Melo is stupid, he has these fantasies about playing with Bron in LA, now NY, and Miami. The guy doesn't have a grasp on how the cap works, or has the worst agent in sports. Melo needs to go to Chicago or Houston if WINNING is what is important to him. Or Miami if like I said, Bosh jumps ship.
Here is what is and will happen. Currently The heat are waiting for Bosh to make a decision. Bosh will go to Houston, his hometown and take the max. Melo will sign with the Heat and Bron will resign. Take it to the bank. Texas and Miami have no income tax and after tasting that shit, which means MILLIONS in savings for Lebron. He aint going back to cleveland where he will be losing tons of money. Remember, even him or melo getting less money in Miami means more money than if they went anywhere else that has state income tax. Lebron gets all his money. If he lived in Cleveland he would be paying millions on his NBA salary and tens of millions on his endorsements. FUCK THAT.
I doubt they are waiting on Bosh. They are waiting on Bron. He's the shot caller. Riles is Asst. GM at this point. Bosh isn't from Houston, he's from the Dallas area. But I do agree if he's not in Miami, he will be in Houston. Yes Texas and Florida have no State income tax and it was a factor in the Dwight signing. L.A. has very high taxes. But in Bron's case, he makes SO much, I don't think it's going to be a major factor. He will make around 40% of his fortune AFTER he retires. Are the taxes in Ohio comparable to the taxes in California? Gun to my head right now, he's going to Cleveland.
That makes no sense. If money wasnt an issue, none of this would be happening. It's rumored lebron saved over 25 million in income tax from his NBA and Endorsements alone.
Stupid Bobcats. 15 million a year for Hayward??? I can't call them the Hornets after this. Bobcats it is.
Bron is getting to that point to where he's going to be making millions years after he retires. Yes, money matters to him still, but so does legacy. Legacy lasts and pays longer than an NBA contract. Ask Jordan.
