I hate fucking Cuban. What an idiot. I have no idea if Rockets match, probably not. 15.3 mill is more than Harden made last year. I heard Rockets GM has already contacted Deng's agent, not sure if that's true. If they want to match that terrible contract, they better tell Bosh he has 3 days to make a decision. Bosh has to know Bron is going to Cleveland by now.
id rather keep parsons than overpay for bosh. parsons is already good and may continue to get better. pricetag set is ridiculous though.
you guys like bosh's game a lot more than i do apparently. bosh is soft as fuck. and if he is one of your top two guys you have zero chance to compete for a title. parsons can be a third option just as well as bosh can and he is far younger. if they both end up on houston you'll see parsons contribute more to the team.
C'Mon Muzse... You just SQUASHED Your Own Argument by Mentioning Kobe, Who was ROBIN for 3 of his 5 Rings, NOT Batman...Moreso, NOBODY Hangs Bill Russell's 11 Rings Over Jordan's Head, Do They???... # of Championships ISN'T an Indicator of Who THE Best Player Is/Was, In & Of Itself... REED:mj:
Bron's ALREADY Done Things Jordan HASN'T...Among Them: 1. Reaching the NBA Finals @ a YOUNGER Age 2. Being Able to Defend EVERY Position on the Court, 1-5... REED Won't Say Bron is BETTER than Jordan @ this Phase, but it's BLIND Jordan Nuthuggery to PRETEND Bron ISN'T in the Process of BUILDING a Very Strong Case "At Worst"... Sorry, but Jordan ISN'T Some Unattainable Mountain...In Fact, Bron is CLIMBING that Mountain Right Now & Has Been to MORE Finals than Jordan, by the Age of 29... REED:mj:
Jordan DIDN'T Enter the League as a HIGH SCHOOLER Either....Jordan DIDN'T Have the INTENSE Media Glare Bron's Had, Since Middle School, Upon ENTERING the League, Either... Bron WON'T Be 30 Until LATE December...To Even SUGGEST it's "Too Late" for Him to Surpass Jordan is WRONG...Bron's ALREADY Lead Miami to 4 CONSECUTIVE NBA Finals, Something Jordan NEVER Did w/a Franchise...Are You HONESTLY Telling REED Bron Could Lead his Team to the Next 2-3 CONSECUTIVE Finals, WIN Them, & it'd STILL Be "Too Late" to Surpass Jordan???... REED Knows You RESPECT Bron, While Never LIKING Him...Perhaps This is CLOUDING Your Judgement in this Instance???... REED:mj:
agREED... It's Like Saying Robert Horry is BETTER than Shaq, Because Coaches Would Rather Have Horry Taking the Last Shot.... REED:notallthere:
There AIN'T a Legit Historian in Existence that'll Tell You Bill Russell was BETTER than Wilt Chamberlain Was...Even Russell HIMSELF, Stops Short of Saying That... It's POSSIBLE to Be a BETTER Player While Winning FEWER Rings, Muzse...It's a TEAM Sport, So Even If You're BETTER, Per Se, if the Other Guys TEAM is Better, he'll Likely BEAT YOU... There WASN'T a Single Member of the Spurs BETTER than LeBron, yet the TEAM Kicked the Ass of Bron's TEAM, Regardless...That Pretty Much Explains Wilt vs. Russell... REED:mj:
Chandler Parsons is CLOSE w/Dirk Nowitzki (Plays in Dirk's Charity Softball Game, etc.,), So the OFFER Isn't Surprising to REED...If Houston DOESN'T Match, That WOULD Be, Though... REED:mj:
Per one of my insiders, I have three, but I haven't really received much info from this particular one lately... Bron will be going back to Cleveland, Love will be there too. Wade stays behind. Melo is going back to NY. Bosh will Be going to Houston, deal will be thurs or fri. Parsons stays in Houston also. This guy is pretty good, but I'll admit, he's not 100% but no insider is.
Jordan also wasn't a grown ass 24 year old in high school at the age of 15. :: Lebron has insane genetics and should be expected to be delivering earlier and use this advantage. Jordan has also done things Lebron couldn't and will never do. 10 scoring titles is fucking ridiculous and tells me more about how good a player is than being slightly better at defending centers because defensive ability-wise there's not much between them - also Jordan was much smaller and lighter and still was a great defender and a dominant athlete. I'd also rather go to three consecutive finals and win them all instead of going to 4 and lose 50% of the time. I'm not saying Bron has no chance of surpassing Jordan. I agree with you there he has a chance but two titles won't cut it not by a long-shot, you should be realistic here. He would need some individual things like a triple double season or something because he sure as hell won't have 10 scoring titles at the end of his career. And I consider scoring the most important one. Not the only one but there's a reason nobody talks about the best rebounders or stealers or blockers as much as about the scorers. Also, entering the league younger is also an advantege, REED. You can get things done earlier and get used to the style of play earlier. At least it's not a clear disadvantage as you tried to picture it (sorry if I read you wrong here).
I never understood this line of thinking. Even though this is true, it rewards Jordan for NOT reaching the finals between 1984-90. It isn't as if players weren't trying their best in conference finals, too. Also, didn't Jordan have his highest scoring numbers in the years he DIDN'T win nor reach the finals? He took one third of his teams shots and naturally scored a lot, but his team was defeated by Celtics and Pistons. This should tell you too that you can's compare just scoring averages between Lebron and Jordan. REED's point about Lebron being better than anyone of Spurs is a correct, too. So far, I do think Jordan is clearly above Lebron who is up there with Wilt, Magic and such, but to say that Lebron could never get to MJ's level is just weird and wrong
LOL. Your insider is no prophet. EVERY damn analyst and insider in the media is predicting EVERY ONE of these outcomes.
I agree, but do you think, two more championships would be enough to be at Jordans level AT WORST? And regarding the scoring: he scored 35 and 37 ppg in seasons where his team was still shit ok, but he consistently scored around 30 or above whenever he was champ and always over 30 in playoffs in all 6 title years. So I can't see how this could be held against him.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion but the lebron has a better legacy than Kobe is the epitome of lebron fandom to me. Even if you set rings aside and toss out three of Kobe's rings as REED suggests...you still have to account for Kobe as the #4 scorer all-time who should pass Jordan in the next season or two. Secondly, Kobe played on some shitty ass Laker teams after Shaq left. It's not like his teams were winning 60 games and he still whined that he had no help. I have to divorce myself from this convo. Forcing me to defend Kobe is making me physically ill.
So Carmelo Anthony is BETTER than LeBron James, Because he Has MORE Scoring Titles???...Allen Iverson is BETTER than Bron for the Same Reason???...If it's ALL About Scoring, Wilt Chamberlain is UNQUESTIONABLY THE Best Ever... Scoring IS Important, but in NO Way, Shape or Form is it a Barometer for NBA Greatness...For What it's Worth, Bron's Led the League 1nce or 2wice & WILLINGLY Allowed Durant to Win the Scoring Title 1-2 Other Times...Bron's ALWAYS Fancied Himself as More of an Oscar Robertson, Magic Johnson Type...He's an ALL AROUND Player as Opposed to Just being a Scorer... Coming Into the League Right Out of High School ISN'T an Advantage...Kevin Garnett Got that Ball Rolling Because he COULDN'T Pass his College Entrance Exams...Most of the Others that Did it Came from DISadvantaged Backgrounds...There's a DISTINCT Lack of Coaching & Seasoning in Guys that Come Straight from High School & MOST of them NEVER Recover... For Every LeBron, there's a Kwame Brown, Darius Miles, DeShawn Stevenson... Micheal Jordan BENEFITED from Playing 3 Years @ North Carolina w/Dean Smith...His Fundamentals were SHARPENED, as Was his Basketball IQ... REED:mj:
Kobe's Also Got a 6-7 Year Headstart on Bron, Statistically...Rest Assured, LeBron James WILL Be a Top 5 (or HIGHER) Scorer in NBA History, when it's All Said & Done... He was THE YOUNGEST to Reach 1,000 Career Points, 5,000, 10,000, etc...In the Next 3-5 Years, he'll Start Bypassing NBA Greats on the Scoring List... REED:mj:
Which gets back to my point... When that happens it's time to have that discussion. But to say Lebron, as is, has a greater legacy than Kobe doesn't make sense to me. It's premature. I never said nor implied he couldn't or wouldn't get there. I'm saying it doesn't make much sense to hang that on him now. A lot can happen to enhance or kill his career in the next 5-7 years.
Bro, my insiders have been hitting on everything the last 3 or 4 days with news before the media gets it, take a look for yourselfin this thread. He has changed the certainty of Parsons being matched, Deng and Marion are being considered. Also, Bosh will sign for slightly less than the max with the Rockets if need be. There's some collusion out there, I haven't got the particulars on that though. Although my insiders have been on point so far, they have been wrong before, but this is one of my 3 insiders statements and maybe some of the media is speculating what he is, he isn't speculating and no one is saying what he has as fact, he is.
Wow ESPN's "cap specialists" are idiots. They clearly don't know when bird rights can be applied and cap holds.
