REED please, for once try grey and no black or white. Carmelo or Iverson ain't better because they have no multiple MVPs and titles along with the scoring. Jordan has. I never aid that and this type of discussion style is exhausting. I never said scoring is the one and only thing that matters so don't act as if I did.

And for all of Lebrons figuring himself as an all around guy - have you even checked Jordans numbers he came closer to a triple double in a season than Lebron did.

Did You Or Did You NOT Say Scoring was THE Most Important Stat???...

    Michael Jordan - 30.1pts, 6.2reb, 5.3ast
    LeBron James - 27.9pts, 7.2reb, 6.9ast

When You Have CAREER Averages of a FULL Rebound PER Game & MORE than 1.5 Assists PER Game, it's Safe to Say You're the MORE Well Rounded Player, Dude...

Bear in Mind, Bron's Rebounding & Assist Averages will Only INCREASE as he Ages & Plays Closer to the Basket....

Lebron could score more than MJ, but he's too unselfish.

I did say that, but I didn't say it equals out anything else like championships (therefore mentioning Carmelo or Iverson wasn't asked for). I can agree that Lebron is more well rounded. But with age his scoring might also decrease. But we will see.

As I said, it's not out of the question he will equal or surpass Jordan. But for me two more rings alone won't do it (adding that at this point he will be @ worst on his level made it too much for me - even the hardcore bron fans will say at best he is on par now, that would be more like it).

But I have to admit it should be close by then because he will likely have two more finals MVP awards and one or two more regular season MVPs. 10 times scoring champ is impressive though. Lebron should get most assists once or twice to make things interesting if he's so well rounded. Rebounds is out of the question for him.

It ain't unselfish it's stupid. He coulda smashed the Mavs alone. The way he disappeared in those 4rth quarters was not the way a guy supposed to surpass MJ as the best ever should play.

Bit of a stretch to say he could have smashed anybody alone. Guy was put out of commission by cramps at one point. He has limitations just like anybody else.

He's the elite player of his era, right now. No reason comparisons to MJ need to even be made.

Bron's Scoring Average will UNDOUBTEDLY Drop, as he Ages...His Career Average will Drop from 27.9 to about 25 or So, When it's All Said & Done...As Early as NEXT Season, if he Goes to Cleveland, his Scoring will Dip...Kyrie Irving Will Be the Leading Scorer & if Kevin Love Joins Them, he'll Likely Be the 2nd Leading Scorer...

Bron Will Average about 22 Max & Be a SERIOUS Triple Double Threat, for a Season...Irving's a Shoot 1st Point Guard & Love has Tremendous Shooting Touch & Range...Add in Allen or Mike Miller & Bron Will Average 10 Dimes Per Game EASY...

Believe it or Not, MJ DIDN'T Come Through 100% of the Time Either...

I dunno about that. Irving and Love pretty much had to do it alone in their teams. If a scorer like LJ ends up with both combined their numbers should drop also. It's impossible to make a good prediction about that. Irving is still very young and Bron not old but if those three end up in Cleveland together, I will root for them. :bears:

Yes he did, in finals. ;)

But really, Jordan would have been "fuck it you moron, I'm scoring here" enough to to take the ball in his first game with Wade.

Lebron will announce that he's going back to the Cavs sometime today before 5PM EST.

For a guy as big as Lebron, playing the position he does, running as much as him and bumping against big guys, it is impossible to play full speed the whole game. He usually started fast, kept his team in game and naturally got a bit tired late in the game. Jordan was smaller yet he too often relaxed early in the game, before taking over in the last quarter, also in the finals.

This is again the odd way of thinking that 4th quarter points matter more than the ones scored earlier, and that in the 4th quarter it is all about the mental side, even though conditioning plays more part there than early in the game

Size shouldn't matter in this argument. Being smaller has advantages being bigger has advantages. Most people would even say Lebron being that big and still so athletic and fast gives him an advantage Jordan had to overcome and still be that dominant on the court.

I never said that 4rth quarter points are more important (although they kinda are - you need guys with good nerves and a winner mentality in the end to get things done when players with a worse mental outfit collapse). Let's say, I consider all points equal. The 4rth quarter points were still missing from Lebron in that series, right? That's why he was 23ppg and not 31.

I'm not really interested in knowing where James will land, I'm 99% sure it's Cleveland, I just want him to announce it already to see where the other big fish land.

i expect james to re-sign with miami. he flew back to miami w/ wade and will probably make the decision before he heads off to brazil for world cup. can't see him making the announcement in miami that he's going back to cleveland.

Lebron will need security in Cleveland for the rest of his life if he fucks them over AGAIN.

If he always intended on re-signing, he should have ended the Cavs rumors weeks ago.

At this point, it's better for his legacy if he goes back.
