Speaking of Tito, how would he fare against Lara?

I just watched the fight with no sound on and gave it to Canelo by two rounds.

I was not impressed much with either guy, tbh. What was a fascinating fight to begin with kinda ended with me feeling let down. I don't know why. I admired Canelo's hunger, wanting to make a fight of it and I admired Lara's game plan which to me looked like he wanted to box and move and frustrate/make Canelo miss, but at the same time I felt like Lara was a bitch too. At the same time again, Lara did what he did because why would he fight Canelo's fight...If Lara decided to stand his ground and trade hell for leather with Canelo, he'd most probably come off second best.

Some more thoughts - I think Canelo lacks imagination when aiming to cut off the ring. He simply has no jab which would of course be a key asset to his limited armoury. He's very wild/raw and looks for that bomb far too often.

Canelo may be limited/average, but there is something about him that I like and I'm looking forward to seeing him in further bigger fights. As for Lara? I want to see more attitude and aggression from him in all honesty.

Alvarez can jab. It's a little slow. But Lara ' s southpaw stance is partly to blame for Canelo ' s missing jab.

I'm not so sure Cotto beats Alvarez. He'd be made to move backwards and generally is much less effective doing so.

Lara is the kind of guy that would struggle against David Reid. Tito kills him

I would pick Canelo to beat Cotto. I think he would stop him late. Would be a great fight for sure.

Lara actually thinks he beat Canelo more impressively than Floyd. He is one delusional guy.

While it WASN'T a Career Best Performance or Anything, Floyd Looked A LOT More Impressive vs. Canelo, than Lara Did...

the times he threw it he connected, but the majority of the time he was intent on landing a big shot, getting in close and roughing Lara up. You may say Canelo was predictable which is why he missed a great deal but at the same time you credit Lara for making him miss and look bad.

P4P, who's a better fighter, Canelo or Froch?

    I say the farmer.

Floyd was definitely more impressive, though I still believe Lara clearly won.

I consider Ward AT THIS STAGE to be better than old man Floyd.

Froch lost to Ward by a commanding margin, but at least he kept trying, and won 2-3 rounds.

Whereas Canelo was simply clueless against Floyd, and was simply a punching bag for 12 rounds.

Plus, I think that P4P, Kessler would have beaten the shit outta Canelo.

I know neil hates the guy, but this isn't a debatable question... Froch is a far superior fighter

I think Froch has a much higher ring IQ, and is more capable of making adjustments if plan A isn't working.

Canelo is basically a one plan fighter.

Froch also has balls... Canelo was afraid to fire back at an older, former Junior Lightweight

    He gets schooled, obviously

Surely, your opinion on Starling isn't so skewered that you honestly think he doesn't easily beat a fighter of this stature???

I believe that Canelo's superb skill, and counter punching, which made Donald Curry seem like Antwun Echols, would overwhelm the one dimensional moochie.

Canelo Beats the Abracadabra Out of the "Magic Man"...

THEN, Starling Confronts Canelo @ the After Party, Because he'd have NO Recollection of Getting KO'ed & Having his Chest SHAT Upon...Just a SORE Jaw & Strange Odor of Feces & Mexican Food, Right Under his Nose...
