    Define "World Class", lol

He's solid, a decent player... He'd never be a star but he could play in a better league than the SPL

Celtic's best all-around player is probably Mulgrew, IMO

Forster and Van Dijk are our best players, imho. Followed by Commons, Mulgrew & Izaguirre. Then the rest. Then the Tea lady. Then Scott Brown.

Keepers are different... Obviously, he's our most world-class guy but he's a keeper, so he's not a "player" like the others

Van Dijk is pretty excellent, I could see rating him above Mulgrew (very different players, obviously)

Commons our most consistent offensive man for sure

Scott Brown is complete and utter shit and makes more mistakes per match than any footballer I've ever seen

Also, Efe Ambrose doing anything other than helping out in attack is fucking useless... He is a terrible defender... I will never agree with you on him... Still he's better than Brown

Ambrose is a liability for sure but defenders have been known to mature out of that kind of gaffe making & he only became a full time player 2 years ago. I'm willing to see how it goes with him for a little longer. There are facets of his game that are really good.

For me, the problem is that I just don't see any improvement at that aspect of his game and that is a bad thing because he is, after all, a defender

If he was a wide midfielder or something and had defensive chops like that, it wouldn't be a big deal at all

Problem is that he doesn't have the pace to play a position like that so he's got to be slotted in as a fullback or a CDM... His pace is good at those positions and his attacking skills are good... But Celtic isn't 1970 Brazil, at some point defense has to be robust against better sides, they can't just win 5-3 or whatever

Mr. Slice, have you ever thought about moving out of London one day to live somewhere cheaper? Manchester maybe?

Bristol or Bath probably, that would be it for the UK. Have been thinking about possibly moving to Europe or the US in the future.

Haha, I know someone from Connecticut actually, they say its a cool place.

I'm going to Colorado next month, will see how that goes. I worked closely with a media company in Denver and they've said they would sponsor me to work for them, so if I like it I might seriously consider it. Looks like a very cool city.

Apparently the CoCo Key Water Resort Hotel & Convention Center hasn't helped Waterbury's cause. What's the deal with that place? So many negative reviews.

Wait a minute, Hitman is from Denver, isn't he? That'd be weird if we had two London expats who lived in Denver. Two QPR fans is improbable enough.

Lol yeah Hitman is from Hackney but lives in Denver. He's always had good things to say about the place which also intrigued me. The things which put me off are healthcare and holidays.

The only good things about CT:

if you live toward the southwestern portion like I do, you are close to NYC
There's a handful of cool museums, even in a shithole like Waterbury
Due to it's proximity to New York and Boston (little further, but reasonably close) and the presence of 5 small cities (110,000+) in such a small place, it is culturally pretty diverse with lots of different kinds of people
    It is near the sea
There's a couple of large rivers which are nice enough
There's a little bit of Revolutionary War-era stuff to see... Old cemeteries (though I can't imagine these would be that impressive to an Englishman, coming from a country that probably has gravestones 1000 years old in places), Mystic seaport, various historical landmarks, etc.
If you like the shock of economic juxtaposition between one place and the next, there's that

    What sucks about CT:
    It isn't New York
Practically everything east of the Connecticut River is fucking useless (including Rhode Island, which is not a fucking Island)
The rich/poor gap is astonishing and ever growing
Despite being a definite "Blue" state, there are strange pockets of rednecks who fantasize about how awesome life must be in a place like Alabama and believe the President is a Muslim from Kenya
The Naugatuck Valley accent (found prominently where I live) ... "My Peerents took me to da store and baught me some Peants to weer to da Deance... And den I ate an Eapple" ... some fucked up way of speaking that sounds like a more nasally Chicago accent mixed with who knows what... My girlfriend when she is upset or excited sounds like this... Her mother sounds like a cartoon caricature of the accent
The general identity crisis of the state itself divided into three groups... 1) People who identify with New York and the Tri-State area (me) ... 2) People who identify as "New Englanders" and see Boston as home, sweet home (huge faggots) ... 3) People who insist that CT is a separate entity with it's own unique characteristics (the biggest faggots, completely in denial)

Honestly, the fact that Noble and I live there and that it's a hop, skip and a jump from the greatest place on Earth is the only selling point

I've never been, but it's basically an indoor water park, water slides and all of that shit, built in one of the many largely deceased areas of Waterbury's outskirts that people only go to when they have no other choice... It can't be doing well... who the fuck holds a convention in Waterbury??? NAMBLA?

Denver is a cool place. It has a unique lay out. The people are cool and they have the best American football team there.
