Hatton shamelessly cagefights his way to a horrible close decision that makes you wish boxing cared enough about itself to enforce it's own rules

We give Hatton alot of flack, but I think he beats Danny by a commanding margin. Garcia likes to fight at a methodical pace, and I don't think Hatton would allow it. Plus he'd be too quick for Garcia.

Can't get much more of a commanding margin than making someone quit, and most people here think Tszyu is worth a shit.

Hatton would win a very clear decision over slow, methodical Garcia, no question.

The Tszyu fight was basically even... Tszyu quitting was inexplicable... Hatton didn't dominate shit

Surely you jest? It wasn't even close to even. Tszyu won about 3 rounds, got beaten up, and quit.

Hatton doesn't love Man City as much as he loves Guinness and cocaine.

I beg to differ doggles, for it is YE who needs to rewatch that fight :eek:hno:

Why else would Tszyu quit? It wasn't inexplicable quitting, it was quitting because he was getting beaten up.

It wasn't even surprising at the time, just like "Oh look, Tszyu is quitting again".

It is sort of odd that Tszyu didn't get more flak than he did for quitting. His retiring probably minimized it somewhat, but considering the shit that fighters normally take for quitting, Tszyu got off easy.

I agree with you. People love Tszyu for some weird fucking reason. He flat out quit, yet doesn't get a fraction of the flack the Fruities of the world do.

Mex thinks that John Q's son had more heart than Tszyu.

You gotta admit though, Tszyu was basically heartless.

He's gotta be trolling with that one.

Tszyu dropped his hands because he had eaten one too many Cool Crack Head right hands, and was literally out on his feet.

TO BE FAIR to Mex........ I do think Tszyu was a bit of a front runner.

But was he totally heartless? No.

Totally heartless is Cintron, or Ortiz.

But I do think a guy like Pryor, or a prime Chavez could have broken Tszyu's will.

There we go X my boy, we are on the same page afterall :kidcool:

I was half trolling saying he outright quit against Cool Vince, but only half.

Basically Tszyu was a front runner as you said. If you started to get the better of him, it was easy enough to beat the fight out of him. It happened with Cool Vince and Hatton, he lost the will to fight against both of them. When the going gets tough, Tszyu gives up.

I agree he wasn't totally heartless like Cintron and Ortiz, but he was definitely a front runner.

It's possible that Philips would always be wrong for Tszyu.

But I'm VERY CONFIDENT in saying that a prime Tszyu would have destroyed Hatton.

A younger Tszyu may have had more success timing Hatton ' s rushes and get him on the chin with a big right hand. But outside of that, Hatton ' s style(illegal) always would've given Tszyu problems.

 at this mythical prime Tszyu that is 100 times better than the one Hatton fought. Tszyu never looked any different, and never looked anywhere near shot. It's not like he was getting roughed up by bums in the run up to Hatton.
