Correct REED if he's Wrong, Brother HUT, but is GGG Ranked by the Sanctioning Body Cotto is Champion Of???...

Cotto's Only Mandated to Defend Against Those Ranked by Said Sanctioning Body...

Froch has fought everybody. So has Cotto and Martinez had a solid list of opponents.

None of these fighters will go near GGG. Tells me all I need to know about Golovkin.

Miguel Cotto ISN'T a Middleweight...What Part of that DON'T you Get???...

Beating an Injured, Inactive, 40 Year Old, CAREER Loooooooooong Jr. Middle, @ 160, DOES NOT Make Cotto a Middleweight...Hell, Mayweather was BIGGER than Cotto @ '47...

To Answer your Question, GGG's Better @ the Weight...Peter Quillin is More than Likely BETTER @ the Weight...Hell REED Isn't Sure Cotto Beats Any of the Recent Euro Middleweights GGG's KO'ed...

REED Isn't Sure Cotto Beats Felix Sturm or Even Sam Soliman @ Middleweight, Either...

    Not @ All...

REED is Just a Voice of REASON in the Midst of Incessant GGG Nuthuggerry...

GGG Fans Wants it BOTH Ways...He SHOULDN'T have to Move Up to '68 to Face Meaningful Opposition, yet Miguel Cotto's MIDGET Ass Apparently OWES it to GGG to Face him @ '60...

    Fuck That...

    THIS...

GGG Fans Know This, they just Want yet Another EASY Touch On his Resume...Cotto is an Easy Touch w/NAME Recognition...

The Martinez Bout was an OPPORTUNISTIC Move on Cotto's Behalf, @ the Tail End of his Career...& it PAID OFF...

But In NO Way Does that Make him a Legitimate MIDDLEWEIGHT All of a Sudden...

If GGG Fans WON'T Pressure Him to Face Meaningful Supermiddleweights, they Need to Get OFF of Cotto's Case, Pressuring him to Face GGG...

There's No INCENTIVE for Froch to Face GGG, @ This Juncture...

But Let's NOT Pretend Froch is AFRAID of GGG...Froch's Resume CLEARLY Illustrates he'll Fight ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANYTIME...

If the Bout Made SENSE/CENTS, REED has Little Doubt Froch Would Jump On It...

HBO would make it worth CENTS for Froch.

And as a GGG FAN, you are incorrect. I'd rather see GGG-Froch than GGG-Cotto.

    I wanna see Cotto-Canelo.

I think GGG should stay at middleweight for the time being. Once he moves up to 168 it's unlikely he can easily come back down. If/when he makes the jump to super middle it should be permanent.

The thing is REED, your position on Gaybox Vs Ward is really illogical, that's why it screams of hate.

As I said, it's the least winnable fight for him in neighbouring weight classes, against a guy who people take the piss out of on Fightbeat for being so unpopular. No one gives a shit about Ward.

If Ward was really popular and a big draw, you'd have a point, it would be worth the risk, but right now it would be an insane move. Very high risk, little reward, the exact sort of fight you'd want to avoid as a boxer or manager.

Ward needs to get his beige ass back in the ring and fight SOMEBODY.

At least GGG is keeping busy.

    Correction...

No One Gives a Shit about WATCHING Andre Ward, but Let's NOT Pretend he ISN'T Held in High Esteem by Those that "KNOW Shit about Boxin' ", to Quote Roger Mayweather...Just Peep Ward's Lb for Lb Ranking, if You Really Think No One Gives a Shit about Him...

If GGG BEATS Andre Ward, That Would Forever Be Known as his SIGNATURE Win, Undeniably...

& 1nce Again, it's NOT like GGG's a Draw Either...From What REED's Read, GGG Barely Put 8,500 Asses in the Seats Last Night, 2/3rd's LESS than a FADED Miguel Cotto Got in the Same Arena, Facing a BIGGER Man Most Figured he'd LOSE to, Beforehand...

Neither Chico Corrales NOR Floyd were Draws Either, when they Met...Nonetheless, BOTH Men Wanted it & HBO MADE it Happen...

You CAN'T Say "Nobody will Fight GGG", "EVERYBODY'S Afraid of GGG", When there's an ELITE Level Guy just 8lbs North of Him, that HBO Will HANDSOMELY Reward him for Facing...

Can't Have it Both Ways, Bro...

    agREED...

It Almost Seems like he's Sitting on his Ass, WAITING to Face GGG...

That Impressive KO of Chad Dawson is a DISTANT Memory that No Loooooooooonger Registers...Shit, Face Froch Again in Europe, SOMETHING...

& Like GGG is Reluctant to Move up to '68, Ward is Reluctant to Move Up to '75, to Face Kovalev...

Ward & GGG Need Each Other, Truth Be Told...

Sure he'd get loads of credit from the hardcore crowd, and would be a big win in the history books, but it wouldn't make him a mainstream star would it? Which beating Cotto or even Junior surely would.

Sure I'd admire him for moving up to fight Ward, but it would make no business sense, none at all. Afterall boxing is a career and business.

On one extreme you don't want to be a complete pussy and ALWAYS take the path of least resistance, but at the same time you don't want to take the dumbest fights out there do you? Fights where the risk FAR outweighs the reward.

You can't hold it against Gaybox for not taking an extreme high risk/low reward fight in a higher weight class, just as you can't really hold it against Ward for not moving up for another high risk/low reward fight in Kovvles.

Cotto isn't gonna fight GGG anyway. No point in even discussing it. It's gonna be Cotto vs Canelo in spring 2015.

Logically that fight should happen but I'm still not buying GBP and Top Rank working together until I see it.

GGG is the easier fight to make.

Just as You CAN'T (Or SHOULDN'T) Hold it Against Miguel Cotto for NOT Taking a HIGH Risk/LOW Reward Middleweight Fight, Against a SIGNIFICANTLY LARGER Man, In his PRIME, w/a 30-0, 27 KO's Record...

No doubt, especially as a Cotto fan, I really hope he doesn't fight Gaybox.

He kind of got lucky against Martinez, but he is clearly not a middleweight. As Hut said though, if he does indeed stay at 160 as the lineal middleweight champion, it's his duty to fight all comers. I hope he just moves back down to 154.

Your "Ass" is Full of SHIT, Apparently, if You TRULY Believe Winning the Lineal Middleweight Title Makes Miguel Cotto a LEGIT Middleweight...Cotto was No More a Middleweight than Roy Jones was a HEAVYweight, when he Beat Ruiz, Homey...

You're a GGG Fanboy, Basically...You Don't Want him to Move up to Face Ward, yet EXPECT Cotto to Face Him...

I wanna see him beat the best middleweight fighters. Unfortunately Martinez wouldn't fight him and Cotto looks unlikely to do so.

Do you expect Ward to move up and fight kovalev?

As for me I would be more than happy with Cotto vs Canelo and GGG vs Froch or Ward.

But Cotto vs Bradley is a terrible fight.

Yep, just as REED Figured, FAN BOY Bullshit...

The Article Itself CLEARLY States Froch's Quote Can Be Taken 2 Ways; Him Saying he Wouldn't Mix it Up w/GGG (ie., Fight @ a DISTANCE), if they Fought OR that he Flat Out DOESN'T Want to Fight him, Period...

The Article Also Claims Froch has Fought "Hasn't Faced a Quality Guy Since his Fight w/Andre Ward", which is COMICALLY ABSURD...

Based on his Resume Alone, it Should Be Pretty Fucking CLEAR Carl Froch Will Fight Anybody, Anywhere, Anytime...If there's Enough INCENTIVE for him to Face GGG, REED has No Doubts Froch Would...

Ward & GGG are Pretty Much in the Same Position, Only Ward Has @ Least 1 Halfway Viable Option; Froch...
