Hasn't there been like 2-3 Tyson movies already? Are they just going to concentrate on more post boxing Mike?

I guess I'm lumping in documentaries as well. I thought there was at least more than one.

Even though I was a huge fan growing up I don't know that I care to see more regardless of who stars in it. We've heard the stories over and over. Probably what they'll do is take some of the stories from Mike's one man show and turn them into scenes. Show the partying, debauchery and so on.

My advice to Jamie Foxx would be to hook up with Kevin Rooney and work on his head movement and the numbering system before filming starts.

Awful choice. Jamie Foxx is weasely looking with no presence, and isn't in the least bit intimidating.

Why is it that the actor of Tyson always has to be a black guy. I think Renee Zellweger would nail the role

    Hanz Roberto Duran

I bet you he's gonna nail this role! He'll bulk up by 30-40lbs, get good enough boxing training and pull this off with his academy award winning acting skills. They'll concentrate more on the turmoils I'm thinking though of Tyson's life story and less on the in-ring action.

Too old, too skinny, no badass aura about him. Awful choice.

At least someone fucking agrees with me :bears: It is indeed an awful choice.

REED - he's a better actor than I expected, but I think he's a downright terrible choice to play Tyson.

They've Already Stated they'll Make him Look YOUNGER w/CGI...& No Doubt, Foxx Will BUFF UP...

Dunno man, I kind of think you do. And CGI-ing him younger just sounds absurd.

I thought it was equally ridiculous that the tiny, scrawny, unmanly Mexican actor Gael was going to play Duran.

Homeboy is a skinny dude in his late 40s.. if he wants the physique of a young Tyson in any reasonable timeframe, he's gonna need Victor Conti's help to achieve it

As Looooooooong as the LOOK is Right, Who Cares???...

From REED's LOOSE Knowledge of Jamie Foxx, he's an AVERAGE Sized Dude...Somewhere in the 5'8 1/2-5'10 Range, 175-190ish lbs...He was Also a VERY Good High School Level Athlete, Which Places him ABOVE the Average Dude, in that Regard...

VISUALLY, it'll Be Easy to Pull Off...Foxx Will BUFF UP, Even Using PED's if Need Be, to Achieve the Right LOOK...Via Boxing Choreography & a Modicum of Athletic Ability, It'll Be Easy for Foxx to Mimic Tyson's In-Ring MOVES & MANNERISMS...

No Doubt, Foxx Will Hang Out w/Mike, VIBE w/Him, SOLICIT his Thoughts on Various Aspects of his Life...

Jamie Foxx just has to ACT LIKE a Badass, Brother Mex...He Doesn't Actually Have to BE a Badass...DeNiro WASN'T a Badass, yet he Portrayed Jake LaMotta...Will Smith CLEARLY WASN'T a Badass, yet he Portrayed Muhammad Ali...

REED has HIGH Hopes for Jamie Foxx, Portraying Mike Tyson...

REED's ONLY Question is, Will the Flick Attempt to Portray Tyson as a SAINT, or Will it Paint the (Hard) TRUTH of his Existence???...Either Way, REED Can't Wait to SEE It...

If they make the movie about Tyson's last 5 fights and the struggles of his daughters death, drugs, etc., and what lead him to where he is now, it could be fine with Jamie.

is there any interesting Tyson story to be told from the last 10 years :scratcher:

Skinny??? Da fuck are you talking about. 15 years ago you could argue he was more buff than Tyson. He is pretty solid still. Definitely not skinny.
