Yeah Sturridge is class, strikers like that tend not to get credit because they seem like goal hangers, but it's all about anticipation, being in the right place at the right time, it's much tougher than it looks.

I've said this many times and I'll say it again, Adel Taarabt has the talent to be one of the best number 10's in world football but the guy is just a FAT, LAZY CUNT

A good number nine can make all the difference in the world... they are the conclusion of attack more often than anyone else... Franz Beckenbauer himself once said that neither Germany (West Germany) or Bayern would have won anything in the 70s without Gerd Muller

Well, we have the same team basically and our young guns are a year older and hopefully improving. We took 5th place last season. I am hoping for 3rd or 4th this season. I could live with 5th (or 6th) again if competition is stiff all season. We SHOULD be 5th or better though. Would love to see us go far in the Europa League. I am hoping to watch them play one cup tie next March or so. We need to make the final 16.

I like Samaras, he's a good player when he can be arsed, and he looks like our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but skillwise Taarabt shits on him from a great height

How bad it would it be if Celtic didn't even make the group stage of the Europa League?

Not to be negative but it looks like you guys are heading for the final playoff round of the EL.

Hull City's first ever trip to the continent. And it ended 0-0 in Slovakia.

It'd be awful... With this squad, being in the Europa group stages would be fine with me... It'd be an accomplishment

The Hull fans that made the trip were let down. Plus, now that they have seen the luxurious and beautiful scenery of Slovakia, how are they supposed to go back home to Kingston Upon Hull.

Liverpool plays AC Milan here tomorrow. Seems like thousands of red jerseys around town.

Breaking news report: knife attacks up 500% in the past 24 hours.

I wonder if there's a correlation between the two.

When Liverpool beat Olympiakos, the BBC covered the story on the Man City page and made no other reference to it anywhere else on the site. Fucking incredible. Yet they covered all of Liverpools losses prior to that.

John Lavell, Irvine , said: “Congratulations to Lawwell and the Celtic board on having all that money in the bank and to Deila, only there two months and already he
    has us playing like Brazil.”

Talk o' Soothampton going fer Forster and VVD... could the Sooth Coast side become the destroyers o' Celtic aftae awready buying Wanyama last season? One thing's fer sure, aftae Charlie Mulgrew's European effort he will no' be going anywhere, like.

Ah believe Ah brought said awee kit tae Hutler's attention a few months ago, if Ye can believe. Hutler studiously ignored me but ma opinion on the kit wiz that it is a veritable 'Japanese Flag' o' a design i.e. Ye could have a terrible jobby, wipe yer arse and produce a bloody design on the toilet paper better than that sunny monstrosity.

As an aside the model, Scott Broon, is fucked up at the mo' wi' a dreadful hamstring tear. It's as serious as can be and Ah dinnae think he'll be the same player upon his return. Laddies put him doon but if he'd have been Captaining Celtic the other neet, the Poles widnae have scored as many, like. And Ye can suck ma ham howitzer if Ye dinnae agree.
