Bradley's Competitive, but Ultimately, he LACKS Power & His Technique is Toooooooooo SLOPPY to Beat Tszyu... REED:up:
ONLY question here is does Bradley last the distance. My guess is, probably not. Consider Bradley-Provo. Tszyu was MUCH faster than Provo, far more accurate, more skilled, just better at everything. And Provo nearly stopped Bradley numerous times. It's hard to beat Tszyu if you have no power to deter him with. If you can't hurt Tszyu, then you better be a MASTER boxer like Whitaker, Benitez, or Locche. A master boxer Tim Bradley is NOT. I say Tszyu stops him in 9 or 10.
Tszyu Wasn't as HELLBENT on Knocking Guys the Fuck Out, as Provodnikov Is...Plus Bradley has a Damn Good Chin... Tszyu Wins, COMFORTABLY, but Not by KO... REED:kidcool:
The thing is, FFH Provo has balls, Tszyu doesn't. Plus Braddles won, and didn't get KO'd. Bradley's tenacity and workrate earns him a hard fought decision against the greasy heartless Mongoloid.
The young Tszyu was. In fact, a young Tszyu was MORE aggressive than Provo, only in a far more skilled fashion. And I disagree. Bradley's chin is nothing to write home about. He just recovers well, and has PLENTY of heart. But his chin itself is nothing special. Bradley lasts the distance with Tszyu ONLY if he goes into survival. If he traded with Tszyu the way he did Provo, he damn sure gets stopped.
Kendall Holt and Provodnikov are TRUE 140lb PUNCHERS that Hit Bradley w/their BEST Shit, Multiple Times...Bradley had NO Business Going the Distance w/Either, Nevermind BEATING BOTH Of Them, After the Shots they Landed On Him... Pacquiao DRILLED Bradley w/More than his Fair Share of CLEAN Shots Also, in 24 Rounds... Bradley's Chin AIN'T LaMottaESQUE, but it's Damn Good...Toooooo Good to Definitively Pick Tszyu to KO Him, in REED's Opinion... Also, Bradley DOESN'T Typically Trade w/Guys, as he Foolishly Did vs. Provodnikov... REED:kidcool:
PURE. HATE. If they Fought 10 Times, Bradley Might, MIGHT Win 1nce, Bro...Kostya Tszyu was BETTER than Tim Bradley... REEDalm:
Tszyu by KO Unlike Provo, Tszyu can finish Also unlike Provo, he has genuine world class skills Bradley is game, courageous as always but he's in over his head here... He's not fast enough to shut Tszyu down with speed, he's not powerful enough to get his respect and he's not skilled enough to outbox him... Tszyu wins every day of the week and twice on Sunday
This. People are really overrating the Hell outta Bradley. He doesn't last the distance with Provo, or even for that matter with Holt, if those two guys had any brains and finishing ability.
I'd be shocked if Kostya DIDN'T stop Bradley. Kostya was heavy handed and didn't necessarily have to be in seek and destroy mode to knock you out. Ask Zab. As sloppy as Bradley is, Kostya would time a careless Bradley and put him to sleep without Timmy knowing what happened.
Who the fuck did Tszyu beat to make him a lock over Bradley? They are a similar level of fighter, but Bradley has more heart.
Heart only takes you so far Bradley's only advantage is a superficial one in speed... I say it is superficial because it isn't particularly useful speed. It isn't dangerous speed... Judah, for all of his flaws, had one indisputable talent - Speed... Raw, formidable speed that he made a career off of... That speed carried considerable power with it and forced opponents to keep a measured approach ... Tszyu overcame it and ended the guy... Bradley doesn't have anywhere near Judah's speed, but more than that he doesn't have the power, the dangerous speed of a Judah Taking that out of the equation, then, what are we left with? What does Bradley have over Kostya Tszyu? He hits about 1/8 as hard, he's nowhere near as well-schooled and disciplined, he doesn't have a better chin, doesn't have any weapons with which to make Tszyu fight his fight Some will note Bradley's good sense of distance but I don't see how it is appreciably superior to KT's There's no way he wins if both are at their best unless he has help from a referee or judges
Bradley just knows how to fight though. He is one of those impressively unimpressive guys. Kostya hits harder, is more accurate, more disciplines, etc etc, but Braddles does have key advantages. He is quicker, and I don't think it's un-useful speed. Bradley has a strange style that is somewhat unpredictable. His attacks don't have much rhythm, he is a difficult guy to time and anticipate. He has better workrate than Tszyu. He has more heart than Tszyu. Those 3 things combined, I don't think it's remotely offbase to envisage a Bradley win. I just don't see what Tszyu has done to make him a lock against a good, solid guy like Bradley, in all honesty.
Don't even bother responding to Mex in a Tszyu thread. He believes heart ALONE beats Tszyu. He's always believed that. 9 times outta 10 the guy with more heart only wins if the talent levels are comparable. The talent gap between Tszyu and Bradley was HUGE. And don't bring up the Philips fight, because Cool Vince had big power. Bradley couldn't bust a grape.
X, read my post above, what have I said that's offbase? I'm saying I could well see Bradley winning based on 3 things, speed, workrate, and heart - not just heart.
What speed advantage does Bradley have? Tszyu had faster hands than Bradley by a CONSIDERABLE margin. Bradley isn't Floyd, he isn't Benitez, he isn't Mel Taylor. His handspeed is nothing special, at all.
nah, bradley can shoeshine faster than Tszyu... but that's useless, of course He's also lighter on his feet... but again, not lighter enough to matter
