...according to Friend, Rasslin' Manager, Paul Heyman...

Is this Simply a CHEAP Ass WWE Ploy???...Is there Even a SHRED of MERIT Here???...Did Diverticublahblahblah COMPROMISE Lesnar's UFC Career or Did he MAXIMIZE Whatever UFC Potential he Had???...

I think it definitely had an effect on him. Diverticulitis is serious shit. There's no way he could've been at 100%.

Bullshit. Lesnar always would have sucked no matter what. Grow up kids.

Yeah, Lesnar's biggest weakness was his reaction to punches. I don't think any illness hurt that.

Exactly. Lesnar was a big, strong, wrestler who beyond that had absolutely no idea how to fight. This Heyman character is selling the wrestling character Lesnar is now potraying, simple as that. He makes money off of Lesnar so might as well build him up as much as he can. Clearly objectivity is not expected from him.

While i think he could have learned to take punches. Make no mistake that something as severe as what brock had can sap your will at any moment. Being hit, didnt help.

In a sport where at the top marginal differences make a winner or a loser it would be stupid to think a real illness would have no effect. How much of an effect is pure speculation. Saying he didn't know how to take punches and no illness could have cost that is as clueless as saying some steroids don't effect your boxing ability.

That's funny. Brock actually cowered from punches against guys like Carwin and Overeem.

I agree with Godfather that Brock could have improved that aspect of his game over time, but illness wasn't rhe cause of that weakness in his game.

It wasn't just his reaction to getting hit. He actually reacted badly to missed punches as well.

I just don't think he did much sparring that involved serious boxers swinging at him.

he absoultely did no boxing training. former sparring partners admitted this. He only started the boxing after Carwin and by then, it was too late

Lesnar was a big pussy. 300 pound man running away from punches. LOL

he survived some viscous punches from one of the hardest punches in UFC history and didnt get knocked out. Came back and won

Carwin didn't know how to pace himself. If he did, Lesnar would have been splattered on the cage in round 2. Lesnar didn't as much win as Carwin lost.

Ok that's all fine and well. But Carwin landed bombs on Lesner and didnt knock him out.
