Correct. There was an Australian regular poster who I won't name from back in the day(early '00s.) I said the same thing. How can Australia claim a guy as a champion who was trained and fought his whole amatuer career in Russia?

Spadafora woulda been a step up from salka. He's deadly to the body

 

Quillin will probably be a slight betting favorite. Not a big one, he's never done anything substantial, nor ever looked impressive enough to warrant being a big favorite.

But I think Jacobs will beat him. Danny is nothing special, despite his great story, but he has real power. That much he has going for him. I don't even think much of Quillin's power.

 

That was a sweet KO by Garcia, despite the fact that Salka was an over matched lightweight bum.

Danny will always have good pop in that left hook. But if stays at 140, he BETTER be fighting Peterson next.

If he moves to 147, then there's many good fights to be made. He can fight Guerrero, he can fight Thurman, or he can fight the winner of Porter-Brook.

 

He is young to the game he isn't in full control, I think that is why jim grey went easy on him this time
