GGG vs. a prime Hopkins @ MW

That's tongue in cheek for the GGG dick riders. Even you have to admit, that's still heads and shoulders above the crap resume GGG has thus far. He's yet to fight a tough scrub on the level of Antwun Echols. Not that GGG wouldn't beat Echols (he would) but he hasn't fought guys on that level yet.

 

Nah, there's no way it's garbage. It might not be great, but someone with a garbage chin doesn't take big shots flush from anyone without flinching.

I know Geale is not a puncher, but he hit Gaybox with a bit shot flush, which barely even registered, and Gaybox KHTFO with the punch he was already throwing.

I don't think it's garbage, either. But he's been hit barely a handful of times so far - it's pretty hard to conclusively know.

To be honest, I'm not sure Echols is that much better than Macklin or Geale. Macklin pretty much meets the definition of a 'tough scrub'. Neither GGG nor Hopkins can claim to have fought a murderers row at 160. At least GGG is just starting to establish himself and is pretty clearly being ducked. Hopkins was there 10 years and fought against the same set of scrubs over and over.

Echols was a very hard puncher who essentially sucked at everything else... his chin was garbage, his defense was shite, he was awful technically

Golovkin would have kicked the shit out of him. If he's any better than the guys Golovkin has already whupped, I'd love to know what it's based on other than his being on Bernard's resume

 

Echols would have knocked out Geale and Stevens.

Macklin might have beaten him. Might have. Macklin doesn't have the best chin.

 

I'd say it's 50/50 he knocks out Geale

Stevens is a clubfighter, he's shit... Geale and Macklin would both whup him and so would Echols
