If we find 9 more like him we might get just enough money selling all 9 to Swansea and Doncaster Rovers to stay in the black.

Celtic should move to the EPL and get Guinness as a sponsor.

    Easy peasy.

Even if they dumped us in the championship to start out, I'd be thrilled... I'd have to imagine a lot of Rangers supporters feel the same about their club

Man U have signed the Argentina Marcos Rojo...not a good signing I'd bet, he's only average...Ed Woodward has made a pig's ear of signing any world class players, Moyes didn't complain but I doubt Van Gaal will tow the line in the same way

I can think of one good Argentine left back, and that was Heinze at the same club. Insua at Liverpool was the same, initially, but he got too heavy {muscular} and slow.

Real created so many chances in the 2nd half but zero finishes. I'm unimpressed with Karim Benzema to be honest.

Ronaldo possibly being shelved for a while is looking grim for Real as well.

I guess they'll just have to rely on one of the 10 or so budding world-class players they probably have sitting there in La Masia

It's funny reading Barca fans whining. Stuff like "other clubs do the same thing" :boohoo:

Yeah, FIFA is picking on poor little Barcelona. They never get away with anything. :giggle:

I know, i really feel bad for them.

This is not the last we've heard about it. The ban will still be lifted or reduced by some other court.

Business is done so the ban is active, January comes around we lift the ban for 2 weeks - no bloody longer :fist:. Rinse repeat for the next two windows then back to normal, that'll teach 'em

    Agreed.

We were linked with Rojo during the WC so I kept a close eye on him. To be honest he's a mid table player. To make matters worse, they have forked out 16 million + Nani (loan) for the privilege . That reeks of desperation. As it stand Man Utd are no better off, in fact I would argue they are weaker this season.

It's coming out that both Muller and Reus turned down United despite being offered pots of money...seems like the prospect of no champions league, being part of a reclamation project, living in Manchester, and the stink of desperation at Old Trafford is putting off plenty of A and B+ players

Decline of Man U means that the exciting Premier League race is wide open (for Chelsea, Arsenal and City) ... best league IN DA WOILD

There are more horses in the race, well, more than the other top leagues. It's not that long ago that the premier league was the best league but those days are gone. The EPL is still a more competitive league than Sire A, La Liga, Bundesliga

I don't see how it is any more competitive... The top three this season, barring some Munich Air Disaster-level thing, will be Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal... The only mystery is what order they will be in at the end.

Bundesliga will be won by Bayern, Dortmund or Schalke

La Liga will be won by Real, Barca or Atletico

Serie A is no longer predictable... Inter and AC have fallen off their perches... Could be Napoli, Lazio, Roma, Juventus or Inter or Milan get back up on their horses

I don't see the EPL being any more wide open or competitive than any of them...
