Liverpool have a better chance of winning the EPL than Schalke do the Bundesliga. As for Dortmund, they will not be competiive this season and with Reus gone sooner or later the future is not bright for BVB (sadly). The only thing worse than two teams dominating is one team. The Bundesliga is a gimme for Bayern.

Sire A is a mess in every way. It's not predictable but football is struggling over there & the quality has dropped year on year for the last decade.

Until the money situation changes in Spain the league is for Barca / Real to loose. Atletico were brilliant last year but we have seen this before in Spain. It can't and never lasts.

When I say it's more competitive, lets say Chelsea are the best team. It's more difficult for them to win the EPL than it is for Barca in Spain. There are more big / competitive games in the EPL. Smaller teams like palace screwing over bigger teams like LFC is far more likely in the EPL. So many of the games in La Liga and I watch them weekly are gimmes for Barca / Real. It's no coincidence that Messi & Cristiano score a goal a game in Spain.

Looks like UEFA rigged the draw and gave us the only team in the tournament worse than us. This lot are useless.

The mid 90s side of the 'sack the board' era were pretty terrible. But that was largely down to the overall air of despondency and negativity hanging over the whole place like a pall - there were 3 or 4 players in that team that would be star turns in this team

I know he was hurt/suspended here and there, but two years ago Anthony Stokes was a distant third option up front and largely forgotten... now he's a "star"

Yeah. To continue the parallels.....I'm not sure Stokes is really much better than a 90s Charlie Nicholas, Gerry Creaney, Tommy Coyne

I gave up on Celtic forums years ago. I've spoke to people who support other teams and I'm pretty sure its universal - internet football fans are from some sort of alternate universe

you get a handful of realistic, objective supporters who wish to discuss the game and the club and a shower of creeps who shout at them for saying anything that goes deeper than "YAAAY!!! BHOYS IN GREEN!!! YAAAAY!!!! RANGERS DIED!!! JELLY AND ICE CREAM!!!"

Problem is, where I live, there's nobody to talk to about them, so I have to check out the occasional facebook post in hopes of a decent discussion... I should join that new york chapter of supporters

Good news! Some cambridge statistician/epidemiologist on a show about longevity just said that your first drink every day was 'medicine'! Then he said something about the effect of the drinks after that but i've chosen to forget what that was.

Ref certainly isn't on our side in this one. I guess we can't rely on the entire UEFA apparatus.

Remember a couple of years ago when TKO was lamenting the Celtic side of that time as a very poor one?

TKO, I present to you Celtic 2014-15 edition... They make The 2012-13 edition look like Brazil 82
