Nothing tops the imaginary George Weah cousin he signed... Nothing done by any manager in history tops that

Also planting a Galatasaray flag in the middle of the pitch at Fenerbahce's home ground is beyond anything

Poaching Mo Johnstone from Celtic and even admitting 20 years on that it was in a big way meant to wind up Celtic (despite his pleas at the time that he was nobley breaking Sectarian tradition)

His laughable tenure at the helm of Liverpool... His disastrous run at Newcastle... The man has been a scourge everywhere

Also, the business with Phil Thompson (both during and after their playing days)

    Disgraceful stuff

Blackburn, Porto, Liverpool, Newcastle, Turkey, Rangers...he's been gash everywhere.

    He's a poser.

When a real fight breaks out, he never gets involved.

It's off the back off his big mouth and, more importantly, his excellent playing career. He was an exceptional footballer. I hate the bastard - in less than nine months he destroyed everything Robson did at NUFC in turning us back into a Champions League club and we have never recovered from his disasterous tenure - but you have to credit the cunt for being a really good footballer in his day.

He was literally hours away from being sacked at Blackburn when fat Freddie picked up the phone and decided 'a hard man' was needed to reign in Robson's arrogant, young players. The Blackburn chairman drove Souness up himself, once he'd stopped laughing his fucking cock off. Nine months of his expert 'man-management' later, he'd throttled (and sold) Craig Bellamy, sold Jermaine Jenas, told Gary Speed he was shite and sold him, throttled (and sold) Lauren Robert, sold Nobby Solano, punched Kieron Dyer out after Dyer had tried to punch Lee Bowyer out in the middle of a match at SJP (both were sold), attacked John Carver, bought several awful players and eventually was fucked off with a multi-million pound settlement in his pockets. When he took over, NUFC had finished 5th and lost a UEFA Cup semi-final to Didier Drogba. When he left we were fourth bottom and in a relegation fight. An absolute fucking clown.

Souness is a classic example of "Sharp Suit, Sharp Spiel"................look the part, talk bollox, get applauded.

Just where he found the time and space to criticize not just Benitez but ANY even MODERATELY successful manager, is beyond me.

By "MODERATELY successful manager" I mean anyone who DID NOT TRY TO SIGN "George Weahs Cousin".

If you did not try to sign Ali Dia, you are better than Graeme Souness.

It's like the guy on that game show...."Achillis Heel".

Sorry mate, all that money you won, you now just lost.

Same here...All that hard work...and then you go and sign the imaginary cousin of a former footballer....after a brief phone chat with said, imaginary person. Give yourself a hand right across the fucking mouth.

I disagree. When a club is struggling to get anything going and they get fed a League 2 side, that's when it's time to get the system rolling again. Upsets happen, especially in the League Cup, but for a club that's already struggling to get shut out by a League 2 side, it's a bite.

I hope QPR turn it around.

Burton Albion have scalped Wigan and QPR. They get Brighton next.

Swansea away for us in the third round. They'll be out for revenge since we took them out of the FA Cup last February (I was there for that one.)

MK Dons host Bradford City. That could have been a Man U-Leeds roses rivalry tie but for two upsets.

We'll play reserves and fall behind 1-0. Come back with two goals in the second half and win 2-1.

Leeds were turned over by Rochdale in the FA Cup and lost to Bradford City of League 1. The fans must be happy.

Apparently they did it as Schweinsteiger is still having knee problems. Not sure replacing an injured player with a 32 year old is the greatest move. Khedira would have been a better choice for them IMO.

He can still play so if the fee isn't outrageous, it's probably worth it

It's not like Bayern lacks the cash
