Can't see how Celtic are "the bad guy" in that scenario. They had fuck all to do with UEFA's decision. If Legia fans want to have a shout at UEFA, fine. But what did Celtic do exactly?

 

My point was the grievance among Legia fans that Celtic hadn't agreed (if that was ever possible) to a play-off suggestion the club had made, as if they were part of a UEFA conspiracy to impose an unfair punishment on Legia...see below:

Legia were in no position to suggest a playoff in the first place. It was always up to UEFA.

 

Yeah yeah......listen, I'd liken it to watching Man Utd crash and burn last season, or watching each goal tumble in as Germany trounced Brazil...there's a perverse pleasure in watching such a sharp decline or utter calamitous collapse, you just sit there not quite believing what you're watching but at the same time hope that things get...worse. Can understand if you don't share it on this occasion.

I heard that Dortmund and Gelsenkirchen are the redneck towns of Germany.

 

Redneck towns is probably a bit extreme as they are very large cities. They were largely mining towns for many years though, so obviously working class.

 

Gelsen is the mullet capital of Europe according to my cousin. I think Hamburg looks pretty jacksonian, good football club too.
