    5=average
    6 good
    7 very good.
    8 excellent
    9 great
    10 MAXIMAL JACKSON!

I guess this was between good and very good. It's fairly forgettable....the format of a romance in London is a bit tired. But Hoffman and Thompson made it way better than it had a right to be

    Under The Skin - 4.5/10 - Crap that I don't recommend.

Basically about Scarlett Johanson picking up dudes on the street so she can steal their skin.

The problem with the film is their really isn't much of a plot or character development other than watching her do this over and over again. A few different things happen too but not enough that I consider the film to have a working story or actual plot.

The only pluses were getting to see Johanson naked at the beginning and watching how fucking nice she looks walking around in jeans or occasionally panties. Also the ending was pretty cool.

And about SJ in those jeans. Man! can she wear them things, baby got back like a sista. I mean I thought Jessica Biel was fine, but I think her quoting price went down the minute SJ came on the scene. I mean SJ was so thick every few minutes my girlfriend would ask me if that was really her body. I'm like yeah, they ain't gonna CGI her head on somebody else's body. She just didn't know SJ was that fine, and to be honest neither did I. I knew she had a great rack but that booty is something else.

The Constant Gardener, 7/10. Really, really good. It probably deserves even more than seven but it unfairly loses a point for being so f'n depressing.

The Fault in Our Stars think of the last 15 minutes of 1970 'Love Story' expanded to 2 hours. Your date with death can be cute if you are a teenager girl. Well made film, but too overhyped. Don't eat popcorn watching this one, instead get a box of Kleenex. 7/10

If you are surrounded by three females in your household you will get a lot of chick-flicks in your viewing roster. You may want to watch The Raid 2, but will end up watching The Other Woman 5/10.

Get On Up Chadwick Boseman does a great job channeling the Godfather of Soul James Brown voice, dance moves and mannerisms in this well made, but a little too long biography. 7/10

Sunshine - I've wanted to catch this for a long time, but never really got the chance. Has to be one of the better Sci-Fi films of the past 20 years or so. Kind of a mix between "Gravity", "Event Horizon" & "Solaris".

Got a bit unnecessarily nuts in the last 1/4 of the film or so. I think it should have stayed a bit more somber and introspective, but I'll forgive them for trying to do something different by introducing a tonal change.

Danny Boyle is one of my favorite directors, but he nearly always seems to struggle with the endings of his movies, by trying to do too much.

    8.5/10

Yeah, he has a major part. The guy from 28 Days Later probably has the most screen time.

I thought that went without saying. If Cliff Curtis is in it, surely Kangal dogs must also be in it.

Howard's End is a great movie with magnificent portrayals by Anthony Hopkins, Emma Thompson and Helena Bonham Carter. The revelation at the end was, well, fitting. 8.7/10

What did you think the film was about Panch? I honestly had no clue. Just seemed to be a string of relatively tedious events which just, kinda, happened. But i was half dead hungover. What was the revelation at the end - that Thompson was gonna end up with the house? Did that seem like a 'revelation' to you? More like a peculiar and vaguely ironic coincidence to me. More 'heh' than 'wow!'.
