i watched that Sunshine movie like you guys commanded...it's pretty good :bears: the ending part with the sun was dumb though, as were the weird effects whenever that bad guy was about :scratcher:

The end stopped me from recommending it to people. Have you seen the signal yet? I wrote a review about it.

Well, the Hopkins character and his greedy family went at great lengths to take the Howard's End country house from the rightful heir which was Thompson. After all the deceitful maneuvers at the end it still landed in the hands of very person the deceased lady intended to in the first place. It shows the hypocrisy of the ruling aristocracy during the Edwardian era England and how it screw up the lower middle class people like Thompson and her sister. Good period drama.

To me, the end kind of ruins the movie. Almost like watching it was all for nothing. It's not memorable to me.

if you are looking for the real McCoy and not fictional, a documentary called Harlan County, USA about a brutal 1970s labor dispute gives a vivid view of the stereotypes

For a fictional version, "Deliverance" does the job well

Ninja Turtles was pretty fun. Action scenes a bit incoherent in the typical Michael Bay style. Megan Fox really ruined her face.

To Kill A Mockingbird (1963) Rewatched again last night this classic film since my daughter is reading the book for her English class. Great, great film. Gregory Peck truly deserved the Oscar he got for his portrayal of Atticus Finch, the ultimate fictional good guy. Robert Duval was a treat at the end. A masterpiece. 10/10

Paris Je t'aime 6/10. Series of short films, some were 5 star some were awful. Overall I really enjoyed it.
Taxi Driver 10/10. Perfect innit? One of a small handful of bona fide 10/10s. I also made enjoyment to the making of docu.
