Because there's very little to challenge it because of who is putting up the TV cash... Has nothing to do with it being any more or less entertaining... Plenty of EPL teams are fucking boring... The EPL is the best promoted league in the world and the most televised... The quality would have to fall down A LOT MORE for it to stop making boatloads off of TV deals

Serie A could produce the most exciting, Zico-esque artistic football on Earth and it wouldn't change the fact that Rupert Murdoch's media empire makes the EPL "bigger", TV wise

Yeah that must play a part. The relatively shiny stadiums and the cultural cache of the language too. But the pace of the games isn't irrelevant i fancy.

Either way Italy might just to continue to fall behind in the $$ stakes long term. Which would be one side effect of $hit modern fitbaw i could live with.

Gloss is boss in the marketing game... Italian football is iconic and villainous on so many levels, I think it's bad for the sport for it to fail... The more compact football power becomes, the worse the game becomes

A little blonde Scotsman has three in three matches. Though he's playing behind our striker.

    Poor Welbeck.

Clips the inside of the post and out.

City looks awful in their midfield.

Gee my "trolling" seems to be influencing even the English commentators, absolutely giving Ozil the stick for being terrible as usual.

Everyone on Twitter demanding he come off, being bashed on broadcast.

Where do you come off? He's doing his usual ghost impression except the few times he gets the ball he plays a worthless dink pass or gives it away...and his workrate is embarrassing.

Look at this clown walking during the attack for the goal.

I only started watching 20 minutes ago and he's done some good things in Arsenal's attacks.

He's a great player, but I think he's a bit of a waste at City. Could have picked a better team.

My man Kolarov should start over Clichy. They're both terrible defenders but Kolarov brings it on the other end.

Klopp started Kagawa in his first game back and he set up a goal and got one for himself in Dortmund's win. :bears:

I see Liverpool is behind 1-0 at the half. It would be better for Liverpool if they were winning instead of losing. I think Rodgers will try to get that message across in the dressing room.
