Maidana is better prepared for this fight than the first fight as well. I think he has a better chance to win than in the first fight.

I dont get Angulo's handlers. Clearly he is not very good. Why not put him in with some scrubs so he can just make a living off of boxing and stop trying to be a champ.

    Did that guy just fatigue?

Why did he suddenly become a club fighter in the 10th round?

He wasn't even taking a proper boxing stance.

That was a really entertaining fight. Angulo is super tough but de la Rosa was better.

Couldn't have been the beating angle gave him. Now we see the reason for the early Canelo stoppage.

Nah.......fighting Maidana was like a tune up between big fights...the same way he took on Guerrero between Cotto and Canelo....and Ortiz between Cotto/Mosley...

I dreamt it a couple of weeks back. Floyd got caught high and went down like a sack of spuds, rose to his feet but the ref waved it off. Probably won't happen though and we'll see Floyd school Maidana over 12.

    Vasquez is an absolute masterclass.

    10-9 Miggy

I want to see him and Crawford since there's basically nothing at LW right now.

Vasquez is supposed to be a champion? All he fucking does is clinch. It's embarrassing.

    Yeah his terrible....

Boxing should have a 5 clinch per round rule....after than you get a warning...at 10 you get a point deducted at 15 clinch a round you get DQ....

most fighter should be able to live with that.

Vasquez ' s coach: "Miguel. Remember. Right, head, clinch. That's your move."

    That's a good idea.

This is pathetic. Never seen a fighter use holding offensively the way Vasquez does. He chases his opponent and then clinches. It's like he's going for a take-down. Some one needs to knock him out and he needs to not be on tv again.

Paulie just referred to Vasquez's style as "the boxing version of the Catenaccio defense":giggle:

Why do the stupid commentators just insult the guy in the ring doing his job.

He won with a great performance and the stupid hack cage fighter announcer is talking about a small portion of the fans booing.
