They don't even comment on the decision because Miguel isn't their guy. So sickening. If Miguel was one of their clownshow thumpers like Kovalev they would be crying their eyes out and calling for people's jobs.
For as horrible as Vasquez was in that fight......Money team guy did NOTHING to win more than 2-3 rounds..if that.
, Vazquez might be ugly and boring, but if anyone won 11 rounds, it was Vazquez. What a horrendously blatant robbery.
I for one, appreciate Vasquez' deft timing and unpredictability. He's interesting to watch because of how unique he applies his craft. It's what makes him so good when he's not being robbed by politics.
If you call that boxing, then I don't know what to say. And Vasquez was plenty connected. Pretty sure he was a Haymon guy. So don't play that card. Bottom line is, this sport has some rules, designed to make it entertaining, suspenseful and gratifying. Vasquez obviously broke those rules. And if the refs won't enforce them, I'm fine with the judges doing so.
You can't be serious. He was actually leading with the clinch. He was throwing clinch leads followed by a head. One of the most cowardly performances in memory.
That's not their job. They score on clean effective punching. Vasquez beat him to the punch all night and disrupted him with clean jabs and the occasional lead hook.
He clinches at close range. He didn't clinch that much you act like it was John Ruiz. He clinched a lot but also outboxed his opponent with clever timing.
Bull shit. his default move was to clinch. And he actually chased bey in some cases to apply the clinch. It was pathetic.
Last year the co main event was Garcia-mattysse now it is a mismatch. Roman shouldn't have been in the ring with Santa Cruz.
