Nottingham Forest are still unbeaten I think and a point clear at the top of the championship. I was going to put a bet on them to go up as champions at the start of the season. I wonder what odds they are at the minute to achieve that.

Just had a quick check and they're 7/1. Norwich were two down away at Cardiff yesterday but came back to win 2-4. They're 5/1 favourites to win the title.

Stuart Pearce isn't too bad a manager. He must be a good motivator on the training pitch and in the dressing room. I can imagine he takes no prisoners.

@SkySportsNewsHQ: Newcastle have won just 1 of their last 11 PL games & taken only 5 points from the last 36 available to them.

@SkySportsNewsHQ: Diego Costa already has 7 goals from his first 4 league games - that's despite having just 10 shots on target.

    The guy is a machine.

Not sure how the fat cunt is still alive. To be honest, his greatest achievement (other than turning one of the richest clubs in Europe into the advertising arm of a minty tat emporium) is that for as many angry NUFC fans there are just as many like me who are completely apathetic to the whole thing. The knowledge that there is absolutely fuck all to be done to make things better is just demoralising. Sacking the manager is pointless - no-one credible would work under this shite even if Pardew is a lying, sackless, spineless, smarmy fuckstick. Morons are talking about getting Moyes or Benitez in to replace Pardew - as if either of those two would put up with this shite...

His business plan is obvious now - NUFC is a profitable advertising vehicle for S***ts D***ct. He recycles enough transfer money for player sales to buy enough players to stay in the league and pocket the TV cash. No other ambition applies. Whilst this is happening no companies are allowed to advertise in match programmes, shirts, stadium etc other than his companies and the loan shark company. He's banned SEVEN newspapers now and has publically told them that they will be granted access only if they agree to pay a fee. Even NUFC online merchandising is now an official part of S***ts D***ct and all sales in club shops now go direct to that company - staff are reporting that wage slips have been transferred to SD lettering, rather than NUFC. NUFC no longer has its own merchandise arm.

Rangers are next - he has a 10% stake in that club and expect that to rise significantly once the shares are cheap enough for him to think he's got the bargain he always waits for. It's fucking horrible.

    Awful

As for the Rangers thing, what is the highest percentage of Rangers he is legally allowed to control under FIFA/UEFA rules?? I know that ownership stakes in two different clubs is generally frowned upon but allowed as long as one of the stakes is under a certain percentage

Of the top of my head it's about what he currently has - 10%. To increase his shareholding he'll have to sell NUFC. He will but only when he can make the maximum money out of the deal - probably in two years time when Rangers are back in and around the Champions League so they become a bigger advertising vehicle than NUFC for his tat.

I'll settle for someone who wants to compete as a football club again. Just trying to compete should be a bare fucking minimum for any sporting institution.
