Wenger probably wouldn't spend that much for his own suit. "10 pounds!? That is outrageous, most I offer is 3."

I heard he spent £42m on a wardrobe......

It was a good finish yes. The Ludogorets goalkeeper Milan Borjan is my childhood friend from the east end of Hamilton.:hammert:

Dortmund annihilated Arsenal. They could have won 8-0.

    Hamilton, Scotland?

Is it true that Ludogorets were an amateur team 5 years ago and now they're in the champions league?!

Welbeck has to be more clinical. That £16m has been a waste so far.

Welbeck is the least of Arsenal's problems right now. If they were really expecting him to be a big difference maker it was a foolish purchase.

James scored for Real Madrid last night.

    All hail James Rodriguez :bears:

I just think Dortmund were BY FAR the better team last night. They look sharper all over the pitch, fitter, more determined and more confident, but I do expect Arsenal to give Dortmund a tougher game at the Emirates.

Modric loves hitting the ball with the outside of his right foot.

Arsenal was his first choice but negotiations broke down. Wenger wanted James to do some plumbing and electrical work at his place as the quotes he received from the tradesmen were too high.

One thing that bugs me is why don't more players acknowledge their team mate(s) who have done a lot of work in order to set up their goal? Just bugs me, you know.

I think that's a safe bet as I'm not sure it's possible for them to offer up less at Emirates or anywhere else.

Yes...can you think of who I'm on aboot?

Some player's goal celebrations are utter shite...ie, Carlos Tevez.

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

That's very true. Arsenal really were :shit #2:

If it wasn't for Szczęsny they would have conceded many more.

  25. whiskey

Obviously wasn't an Arsenal player. :l3:

But no, not at the moment. I didn't watch a lot of highlights today and i didn't pay much attention to those i did see.

I think it was the Benzema goal and I think it was Ronaldo who set him up. Was a nice one-two and improvisation leading towards the goal. But in general it's a pet peeve of mine with footballers not crediting a team mate more who's worked hard to set them up.

  27. whiskey

I caught a glimpse of it but again, i wasn't paying much attention. That was goal number 5 though wasn't it?

  28. Jimmy

Jimmy The Greatest of Are Times

Yeah, I think so. Real Madrid have now scored 1000 goals in European competition.

you need to pay more attention next time, whiskey. That way we will understand each other much better, ok.

    That Bale goal was sweet.
