I think too many of England's major cities are unrepresented in the prem. No Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bristol. Slice - have a word with somebody, please.

It blows my minds how places like Burnley, Wigan, Blackburn (champions), and Bolton can not only host teams that make it to the Prem but stay up for years and years.

In American football (NFL) there is a rule that if the stadium is not sold out 72 hours before kickoff, they order a local blackout. Which means the game can not be shown on television in any form for a 90 mile radius. The blackout can be lifted if it eventually sells out. Those towns' teams would disappear.

Nowt. Newcastle are in a bad way and at best I can only see them drawing with Hull.

You know that saying...good/great players don't make good/great managers....well, Bruce has prove to be a pretty good manager IMHO.

I definitely agree. I have said many times I like the idea of promotion/relegation and the cup competitions. It's still straneg to me that certain bumkin town seem to be at or near the top of the pyramid while big city teams like the ones mentioned are struggling between League 1 and 2.

Aston Villa isn't high on individual talent but they look pretty organized as a group. Surprised at how well and how often they play for each other.

    Strange but wonderful.

While all sports are commercial these days, American sport takes it to the extreme. No relegation, moving teams from one city to another :notallthere: How do people support these teams.

That got away from Villa really quickly. They were playing better before the first goal.

I never did like relying on the offside trap.

    Are you watching the game?
They were the better team, closing high up the pitch reducing Arsenal to long balls and even created a few decent chances. Then it all fell apart.
