Literally, ANY Team Can Win a Super Bowl...But GREAT Teams RISE to the Challenge of Winning a Super Bowl & Being MARKED MEN, Being HUNTED by the Rest of the League, the Following Year(s)...

Seattle IS NOT Responding Well to Success, Bottom Line..."America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys, EXPOSED them Yesterday, AT HOME...Rendered their Vaunted "Home Field Advantage" USELESS...

Pete Carroll was Soooooo Fucking Flustered, he RAN OUT Of Chewing Gum...Richard Sherman, the Self Anointed "Best Corner in the League" has Now had 2 SUBPAR Games in just 6 Weeks...Sorry, but that just Doesn't Happen to TRUE "Shut Down Corners"...Deion Sanders, THE "Shut Down Corner", WOULDN'T Have 2 Subpar Outings in 16 Games, Nevermind 6...

Seattle's Got a Loooooooooooooong Ways to Go, to RIVAL Franchises like the Cowboys, 49'ers, Steelers, Patriots, Packers, Giants, etc...

Again, ANY Team Can Win "A" Super Bowl...

The most impressive thing to me was the way Dallas physically dominated Seattle's D.

Second would be the Cowboys man coverage on D. Their linebackers smothered TE's and RB's regularly yesterday..

    They REALLY Did...

Seattle Fashions Themselves as THE Bully on the Block...It'll Be Interesting to See How they RESPOND Moving Forward & How Other Teams Respond TO Them...Yesterday was VERY Much like Watching a Bully Get Punched in the Mouf', in HIS Backyard...That Usually EMBOLDENS Ensuing Opponents...

We're Going to Learn A LOT about the Seattle Seahawks, in the Next Few Weeks...

i said it was ridiculous that you consider him a game manager when you first said it. did i not?

as for tonights game, it was over when jenkins bit and gave up the TD to lloyd. all down hill. although the refs fucked the lambs with the phantom offensive pass interference on cook stopping what looked like a third TD drive

REED Called Wilson a "GLORIFIED Game Manager" & that Seems to Be a Fairly APT Description, from Where REED's Sitting....

How Many Games Did Seattle Win as a DIRECT Result of their OFFENSE, Last Season???...Of Those LIMITED Amount of Games, You'd HAVE to Give the Brunt of that Credit to Beast Mode, Undoubtedly...But even w/His Contributions, Beast Mode Clearly Took a BACKSEAT to Seattle's DEFENSE, in Terms of WHY they were Super Bowl Champions...

Hell, Richard Sherman & Other Members of the Defense was ON RECORD Saying "We Don't Want to Put Our QB in a Position to HAVE to Win the Game for Us", as Recent as LAST SEASON...

Again, Wilson ISN'T a Bad Player @ All, but Put Virtually ANY Playoff Caliber QB in that Same Situation & they SUCCEED...& REED Ain't Talking Manning, Brady, Brees or Rodgers Either...Hell, Put Cam Newton, Colin Kaepernick, Andrew Luck, Tony Romo, Andy Dalton, Matthew Stafford, Joe Flacco, Ben Roesthlisburger, Jay Cutler or Matt Ryan on the SAME Team as Seattle's Defense, Marshawn Lynch and Percy Harvin???...

You Seem to Have this Idea of Russell Wilson Being SPECIAL, Whereas REED Sees his Situation as Being ADVANTAGEOUS...

from where i sit, other than rodgers, brees and perhaps luck Id take wilson over any of those other QBs you listed.

lynch is very good, but the receivers on seattle werent great last season, and the offensive line wasnt great either. harvin didnt even play last year.

You're failing to comprehend that this just wasn't that big of a game for the Seahawks. The Champions may have a little business to take care of before the playoff run, but the Dallas Cowgirls really don't even register on that list. The only thing that got exposed, was that the Cowgirls opening run isn't a complete fluke. You realize the Hawks did lose 3 games last year... in the regular season. That's why they call it the regular season.. cause it's regular, nothing special about it and certainly nothing 'super' about it. You're wrong, NOT any team can win a Superbowl.. but we all know ANY team can win a given game in the season. Too bad you have to look back to LAST CENTURY to find the Cowgirls anywhere near a Superbowl title. But yeah, now the Cowgirls are having their little rodeo. Well I can't really blame them, last Sunday was about as 'close' as they'll get to a Superbowl Champion team for quite a while.

Id take wilson ALL DAY over manning in a big game. he beat the guy earlier this year already, leading his team down the field in OT to win. wilson is a winner and a clutch player, the other guy has proven time and time again he clearly is not

There's NOfuckingWAY You Believe an Ounce of What You Typed...

How Many HOME Games Did Seattle Lose Last Season???...How Many HOME Games Have they Lost in 2+ Seasons w/Russell Wilson @ the Helm???...Until Last Sunday, the Answer was 1...CLEARLY, Seattle Cares about HOME Games & Their PLAGIARIZED "12th Man" Schtick...EVERY HOME Game is a "Big Game" for Seattle...

"America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys DEFECATED Upon the 12th Man & Any Semblance of Supremacy Seattle THOUGHT they Had @ Home....

The Seahawks are a ZIT on the Acne Riddled Face of a Teenager, When Compared to "America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys, as a STORIED Franchise...Sorry, but "A", Meaning 1, Super Bowl AIN'T Cutting It...Try Winning MORE than "A" Super Bowl Before Feeling Entitled, Bro...

"America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys have Won 5, INCLUDING Back to Back...They were Also THE 1st Team to Win 3 in a 4 Year Span, Something Only the New England Patriots have Equaled...Hell, even the Baltimore Ravens Can Rightfully SCOREBOARD Seattle, when it Comes to Championships...

    Dallas Cowboys > Seattle Seahawks

Yeah, YOU Would, but NOBODY Else, INCLUDING Seattle's GM...You're a 1 Man Army, Uttering that Bullshit...

Wilson is a "Winner & a Clutch Player" Because his Team DOESN'T Place Much Responsibility On His Plate...Again, Seattle's DEFENSE Is Why they're Defending Champions, Followed by Beast Mode...& In Last Year's Super Bowl, Percy Harvin Undeniably had MORE to Do w/the Seahawks Victory than Wilson Did...

Hell, the MVP of the Super Bowl was a Seattle DEFENSIVE Player, So Please STOP Overrating How "Clutch" Wilson Is...If Peyton Manning Had THAT Defense on his Squad, he'd Be UNDEFEATED in Super Bowls...

actually i am not alone in thinking manning is a choke artist. the facts back up the claim. malcolm smith hardly was more deserving of MVP than Wilson in that game. there were a half dozen guys who had more of an impact than him. His presence on the field was not necessary for seattle to win. right place, right time deal. kinda like larry brown

Nah, "America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys EARNED that Moniker DECADES Ago...They're the Yankees of the NFL...

& Even w/the Lack of Playoff Wins & 8-8 Seasons, the Boys STILL Lead the League in T.V. Ratings & are THE Most VALUABLE Franchise in the League, Based on the Recent Forbes Report....The 2nd Most VALUABLE Franchise is ALL of Sports...

seattle GM most certainly wouldnt trade wilson for manning. and very few GMs in the league would do so either. you act like the cupboard was bare for manning, his team was favored to win the game.

this all started by you claiming wilson was a game manager, now the best you got is he isnt as good as manning who some (erroneously) consider the greatest QB of all time

    Huh???....

REED Stands By his Point that 20+ Other QB's Could've Taken the SAME Seattle Team to a Super Bowl, & he LISTED Them...So Please DON'T Fool Yourself Into Thinking REED is Backing Off his Remarks 1 Bit, because he ISN'T...It's NOT like You Brought ANYTHING Of Substance to the Fray, to Prove Otherwise...

YOU Countered w/an IDIOTIC Statement, "other than rodgers, brees and perhaps luck Id take wilson over any of those other QBs you listed."

"Perhaps" Luck???...There's NOfuckingPERHAPS about it, Neil...Luck is BETTER...& if We're Talking about Winning TODAY, the Rest of REED's List is VERY Sound...

The ONLY Reason Seattle's or Any Other GM Wouldn't Trade Wilson for Manning is AGE...PERIOD...But in Terms of #'s, Wins, Accomplishments, etc., Peyton Manning DIARRHEA SHITS on Wilson & ANY GM Would Pull the Trigger on that Trade in HALF a Heartbeart...The Fact that You're Even ATTEMPTING to Debate Otherwise Shows how RIDICULOUS your Level of Bias is...

Russell Wilson IS a Game Manager...He's the QB of a DEFENSIVE/RUN Oriented Squad...Those are FACTS...Seattle Almost NEVER Relies on Wilson to Actually WIN Games for Them...

Richard Sherman Makes an EPIC Defensive Stop on the FINAL Play of the NFC Championship Game, but Here YOU Go Bowing to Wilson & how "Clutch" he Supposedly Is???...Fuck Outta Here w/that Nonsense, Playboy...

REED's Admitted Dude CAN Play, but You Have this FOOLISH Perception of Him Being The Next GREAT QB or Something...Nope...He's in an ADVANTAGEOUS Situation Where he's Asked to NOT Fuck Things Up, Hand the Rock to Beast Mode & Watch the DEFENSE Win Games for Him...

REED's QUITE Confident TIME will Prove Him Right in this Instance...& ANY Comparisons to Peyton are LAUGHABLY Offbase...

wilson has a career QB rating of over 100! you act like the guy is just along for the ride. when they have needed him to make plays to win games he has stepped up and done so. in addition he will give you 2 to 3 first downs a game with his legs, since he is basically a running back with a cannon for an arm who seemingly makes all the right decisions. he gets 500 yards a season rushing. post season, same thing.

i wouldnt even say shermans play was epic. he was beat and recovered and made a good play. prior to that wilson drove the team to a TD to take the lead in the 4th quarter. all this despite the fact SF had damn near as good a defense as seattle, a faaaaaar better offensive line, and better skill position weapons.

if wilson was on dallas i would consider you guys legitimate super bowl contenders. as it stands now i am skeptical of the cowgirls post season chances.

QB Rating ISN'T w/Out Flaw, but even MORE Importantly, Dude has a TOTAL of 2 Years & 6 Games Worth of Stats...So Please SPARE REED the TRUMPED UP "Career QB Rating of Over 100" AND the Exclamation Point, Okay???...Josh McCown's 2013 QB Rating was "Over 100" as Well:lol:...

Compare Wilson's ATTEMPTS, COMPLETIONS and YARDS to that of Other QB's...Hell, Dude was What, OUTSIDE the Top 15 in Passing Yards, Last Season???...RGIII was Basically BENCHED for the Latter Portion of the Season, yet STILL Finished w/MORE Completions...Nick Foles Played about HALF as Many Games as Wilson, yet Threw MORE TD Passes...

Granted, Wilson's SMART w/the Ball, so his INT #'s will Be Low, but the FACT Is, he Doesn't Throw the Rock All the Much, Compared to Other QB's...Clearly, that AIDS in his Low INT #'s...

Like REED's Said from Day 1, the Seahawks DON'T Ask Wilson to Do Much...He Makes a HANDFUL of Plays Per Game, but in NO Way, Shape, Form or Fashion is he THE Reason Seattle is the Defending Champion...He's LOWER On the Totem Pole than the DEFENSE, Which was # 1 in the League...He's LOWER than Marshawn Lynch Too, who had 1,600yds Rushing, Wilson's Rookie Year & 1,300 Last Year...Double Digit TD's Both Seasons, for Good Measure...

Wilson "drove the team to a TD to take the lead in the 4th quarter" Because:

    1. Navorro Bowman was ROBBED of a Fumble Recovery @ the Goal Line, and...
    2. Navorro Bowman was INJURED on the Play & HASN'T Returned Since...

In that Game, Wilson Finished 16-25 Passing, 215yds & 1 TD...As UNDERwhelming as those #'s are, Believe it or Not, that Calculates to a QB Rating of 104.6...

Sooooo, You're Basically PROVING REED's Point for Him...Russell Wilson is Asked to Do LESS than Most QB's, PERIOD...He's the QB of a Team Predominated by DEFENSE & a Top 5 Running Back...

We'll See How Things Pan Out for "America's Team", YOUR Dallas Cowboys & Tony Romo...But UNQUESTIONABLY, Romo has Been Asked to Play More of a DIRECT Role in the Boy's Chances of Winning or Losing Games, than Russell Wilson EVER Has...& it's NOT Even Close, Honestly...

Reed you're grasping hard and it hurts to watch. I get it, you're pumped, your team just shared a field with The Champs and pulled out a W against a lackluster squad.

Nobody disagrees that Seattle has a strong D, and a very strong running game with Lynch. Football is a team game and you need everybody playing the part, at a high level to have success. It's all part of the package, and Russell Wilson at QB fills this role like none other. The guy is ridiculously smart and dedicated to the game. Have you seen how Wilson works in the pocket ? How he scrambles, and makes BIG plays when his O-Line completely breaks down in front of him (this being a consistently WEAK part of the team, even in the last 2 big seasons), how he throws the ball while running full sprint ? You are right, he isn't in the same class historically as Peyton Manning, one of the greatest QBs ever, yet. But the fact is, these guys faced off, head to head last year. Peyton Manning, classic choke artist he is, let the first snap of the game cruise by his head and instantly lost the game. Wilson on the other hand... 43-8. QB passer rating 123.

It's not just me, a Hawks fan saying this either.. people that actually know football think he's not too bad either
    *******
After the Seahawks beat the Broncos in Week 3, Denver cornerback Chris Harris said thatRussell Wilson was better than Andrew Luck. After the Seahawks beat the Redskins on Monday night, Washington safety Ryan Clark took that a a step further saying that Wilson isn't just better than Luck, he's the best player in the NFL.
"We got beat by a better team," Clark told the Washington Post. "We got beat by, as far as I'm concerned this weekend, the best player in the NFL. Russell Wilson made every play he had to make for his team to win, and we didn't."
    *********
I don't think I've ever seen those words uttered about Romo.. or anybody on the Cowgirls for that matter.

Dude, this is like Your 1st Year EVER Braving NFL Threads, from REED's Recollection...Meanwhile REED is ALWAYS "Pumped" About his Team...REED Would Wager Anything he was a DIE HARD Cowboy Fan Before You EVER Watched a Complete NFL Game....

Your Post REEKS of "Bandwagon Seahawks Fandom"...Voila!...Out of Thin Air, You Appear, Speaking as if Seattle's Some TRIED & TRUE Franchise, Historically...Sorry, But They're NOT!!!....

Anyways, Do you HONESTLY Think REED Can't Find Quotes/Articles DENIGRATING Russell Wilson???...Fuuuuuuurthermore, REED ISN'T Making This about Romo vs. Russell, Exclusively, as Romo is Merely 1 of MANY QB's Who Could've Done LIKEWISE w/the DEFENSE & RUNNING GAME Wilson Had, Last Season...

Look @ the ENTIRETY Of Wilson's Stats from Last Year....Compare them to Other QB's, Particularly the QB's REED Noted a Page or So Ago, & U'll Notice a CONSIDERABLE Difference...& Again, a Straight Up SCRUB Named Josh McCown had a QB Rating OVER 100%, Last Season...

Point Being, w/a Relatively SMALL Sample Size, in Terms of OFFENSIVE Responsibility, a QB Can Have a GAUDY QB Rating...Nick Foles, Case in Point...
