NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the Texans are "growing frustrated" with OLB Jadeveon Clowney due to all his missed time with a knee injury and now illness. Rapoport adds that the Texans know Clowney has never battled through a serious injury before and want him to "grow up, be more mature." Clowney was sidelined from the second half of Week 1 through Week 8 with a knee issue, and is now expected to miss Sunday's game while he's under the weather. Just as REED's Suspected All Along...Clowney's a Phenomenal TALENT, but REED's Questioned his DRIVE for More than a Year Now...When Clowney's MOTIVATED, like he was @ the NFL Combine (& Like he Will Be During his CONTRACT YEAR), he's a Fucking MONSTER... Unfortunately, those Moments are the Exception, NOT the Rule... REED:nono:
Per Yahoo... Speaking Wednesday, Jadeveon Clowney said his knee remains an issue. It's troubling that the meniscus Clowney injured in Week 1 is still giving him problems. "It’s just not where it needs to be right now," he said. "We're taking a step back and trying to get it to where we need it be so I can play." Clowney was also sick last week, missing the loss to the Eagles. Amid reports the franchise is growing frustrated with the No. 1 overall pick, he'd do well to at least practice when the bye is over. Story out that the Cowboys have "serious concerns" about Dez Bryant and aren't willing to give a ton of guaranteed money in their offer. Strange how this happens less than a week after Bryant hired new representation and Jerry Jones "advised him against it" and "isn't comfortable" with Bryant's new team.
Word out of Dallas says that Jerry Jones is disappointed in Dez Bryant's clean lifestyle, better attitude, relative youth and improving numbers. Anonymous sources in management quote Jerry as musing "If only Dez could be more like Pacman Jones, we could finally call him a real member of this Cowboys organization" Meanwhile, feelers have been put out to the agents of Randy Moss and Josh Gordon.
Aaron Rodgers is giving EXCELLENT fantasy point this week....36 at the half...hopefully they won't rest him...and he can get 1 or 2 more td's.. and the person i'm against this week has Jordy Nelson with his 27 pts.....on the BENCH...:bears:

WoW! Carson Palmer sure as hell times his injuries perfectly. Probably tore an ACL, just two days after getting $20 Mill. guaranteed from the Cardinals. His last big contract, he went down 10 days after he signed it. ray:

Yes and still for the reasons stated earlier. Todd Haley is an utter moron and the Steeler defense is really showing their age. They beat the Texans, Colts and Ravens in succession, so I'll admit it's mind boggling to see them upended by the Jets. That's the NFL. But again, if I had to pick a QB to start a franchise tomorrow, I'd pick Ben. It wouldn't be a no-brainer pick by any means however.
One coaching/management decision I'll never understand was the Sanchez/Tebow thing where the Jets had them trading plays back and forth. What a joke that was.
