    UFC 180 vs Bellator 131

Partially because of the injury to Cain Velaquez, the UFC is putting a weak card up against Bellator's Bonnar-Ortiz sham.

With the Bellator card on free TV and bolstered by the very interesting Chandler-Brooks rematch, the UFC's first trip to Mexico is going to have stiff competition.

This is the most violent / disturbing ufc I've seen, and it's only the prelims.

Jessica Eye punched this girl so hard her ear almost came off completely. Jesus christ. I didn't know that was something that happens in fights.

Fuck that arrogant Dana. I'll record Bellator and watch the UFC on a free stream. I don't care about most of the card, but I can't miss the Hunt / Werdum fight.

It would be so great if Mark Hunt KO's Werdum.

Oh man Bellator is trying hard to bash UFC lol including the heavy push of reminding us Manhoef KO'ed UFC title contender in Mark Hunt.

UFC 180 is utter garbage, I wouldn't pay 2$ for this.

It will be all worth it if Hunt KO's Werdum

The UFC fights have all been awesome so far. Even if I haven't heard of a lot of the fighters before. These guys (and 2 girls) have been going for broke, giving it everything they have. No point fighting tonight.

And now Eddie Alvarez looks even more average.

I thought Hunt had it for sure once he was able to stop Werdum's takedowns.

Scott Coker has officially made Bellator the laughingstock of professional sports with these entrances.

Damn, didn't expect Werdum to ko Hunt though

Werdum is one of the greatest ever.

I might legitimately put him above Nog all time.

I think a prime Werdum would beat Nog in his prime. I would have liked to have seen Werdum fight Frank Mir before he declined so much. Mir was the best heavyweight submission specialist in the UFC before Werdum.

So Tito Ortiz manages a relative narrow decision win over Bonnar. But more importantly, Bellator has managed to have Ortiz on the roster and participate in 2 fights under the Bellator banner without having faced anyone meaningful.

Bellator has Lawal, Rampage, their LH Champion Emanuel Newton and highly regarded, undefeated prospect, Liam McGeary yet Ortiz fights a blown up middleweight and a 2-year retired Bonnar.

Scott Coker is actually out-Cokering himself with this stuff. And since it appears Tito is still some kind of draw among MMA fans, don't expect a serious fight anytime soon.
