Good performance by Wlad. Saw that Pulev was open for that LH & threw it beautifully. definately a 2-handed K.O fighter.
Pulev, on the other hand must had been watching trapes of Bruno, & had decided that Wlad was open to the rabbit-punch in the clinches approach.

that was horrible to watch..Wlad even was hurt in the first round and hanging on..LOL...the heavyweight division has never looked so bad..good lord

There was plenty of holding in the first round. After that it was nothing unusual for a heavyweight fight. Had Wlad always fought like this, few spectators would have a problem with him. What I especially liked this time was that when Pulev landed, he immediately fought back. In the first round Pulev rocked his balance with a good jab and Klitshko downed him in return. In the fifth, Pulev landed a clean right cross, Wlad separated him from his senses with his next punch

 

Word on the street is that he has this three fight deal with the Yanks....and wants the Bronze Hope next. I think he can break Louis record IF he keeps this up.

I wonder what Wlad's vert jump is. I bet its pretty good.

 

Interesting thing about this fight was pulev was actually out jabbing wlad at times. That jab of pulev ' was really bothering wlad. But he just kept getting caught. Maybe that's why guys don't jab with wlad much.

 

I'm not really a Wlad fan but that was a beautiful shot

 

No doubt about it. Yes Pulev was garbage but I don,t really get the complaining about Wlad performance. He blew him out quickly with an ko of the year candidate.

 

Way too hard on Pulev. He was able to get to Wlad unlike anyone in a long, long time.

 

Beautiful isn't really the word id use. He basically hit him with his thumb, it was awkward as hell. Without all the padding and wraps thats a broken hand.
